Geez....this stuff is like trying to break the devinci code! So based on a past article I invested in Swanson Albion Chelated Mag Glycinate which list as its ingredient TRACCS Mag bisglycinate chelate 400 mg. Does this mean it prob breaks down into better part mag oxide and useless?? We should just generate a final purchase list of what minerals and brands are a buy and what are a do not buyby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Shannon, Whats your opinion on my wait period. I mean should I let this progress some? Even considering insurance do they have a "span period" between these procedures?by tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks Shannon and all You may be right. Maybe I just need to do that. I think Ill prob give a little more time to see how I progress. Im not sure what the issue is for sure (no monitoring) and the events are spaced. I do have agressive ectopics which Tomassoni was going to target but evidently the FIRM equipment went down. I swear one visit I thought I was told there was nothing in the PVs sby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
For some reason had a rough weekend. I have increased my Potassium with LS V8 and occassional 400mg. I have increased my Mag with Epsom bath (3x week) and two 500 mg day. Past couple of weeks have done great. I had a date sat with an old girlfriend and did have some reservations about re-starting, and old issues, etc. So maybe was stressed IDK. Its like I cant even experience feelings anymoreby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Randy glad you are doing well. You sound exactly like me. I had the same procedure last Feb. My anniversary is Feb 24. I have the same Palps often but nothing really sustained. Those still bother and worry me. Typically stress gets me the worse. I do have a beer or two sometimes. I hate the palps but I guess it is what it is. Nice to not have the Afib lock in. Im thinking it prob will eveby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Denver, WOW that is so awesome. I am so glad your dream came true. I hope all of us some day can be so fortunate. Out of curiosity and because people have varying degrees of what they call "success" do you ever have any problems like pac's or pvc's here and there or just straight up nothing but normal? thanks Timby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Barb, I have periods like now where I have quite a few pacs pvcs whatever the thumps and bumps are. I wish I had NONE because I seem to be sensitive to them. For me those are included in my opinion as to whether my ablation was a success and of course to the EP they are not included because they arent a "sustained" problem. I have also tried to increase my mag for now. Somewhatby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Well I dont want that either I already have bad acid reflux if i am not careful. Seems if it was making your stomach more alkaline it would lessen acid problems ???by tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
I agree PeggyM. Chlorine is such a part of our everyday life Im not sure what I would do if I had reactions to it. How does this fella drink water? It would be rough.by tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Well I did get my ingredients to make my first batch of Waller Water As I was reading the directions provided, kinda ran into a KINK. Reading beyond the directions in regards to the survey the results given arent very encouraging. In fact they scared me. I dont want to do something to make my condition worse. They in a manner support what my EP always tells me. I am an engineer and work wby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks Jackie Yes Ive tried two different magnesium oils and they tend to burn or dry my skin out ....bad. I am making the Waller Water and maybe the Epsom baths in combo.by tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
What is everyone's thought on taking Epsom Baths to increase available magnesium. My research finds it is beneficial. Has anyone had any luck or tries at using Epsom salts to help in this area?by tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Travis I have had four ablations. My SVT morphed into flutter into afib throughout this process. Each ablation I feel has helped give me time in between what I would deal with next time. Personally I think the ablation is positive. Not 100% for me and Im still leary about my last one as in how long the positive results will last but Im glad I did it. I think the afib will keep progressingby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Jackie I did find the Waller Water recipe I am a bit confused tho Arer steps 1 thru 3 to make the concentrate which is then diluted into the drinking water portions in step #4 ? Sorryby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Jackie, Thanks so much. Im interested in making the Weller Water (where is the best formula). Does low potassium have the same effects (twitching, charlie horse, etc) as low mag? How do you know which one is low without a bunch of testing? seems my EP doesnt even consider low stuff ??? thanks so much for caringby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Smackman, Glad to hear no Afib. My procedure was in Feb 2014 and had a fairly good run except for lately I am getting more and more pac's a pvc here and there. It is discouraging. Havent had any sustained afib but I find the pac's etc about as stressful. Not sure what to do. Along with winter that hit pretty hard here in KY this week I am down in the dumps. I had been feeling prettyby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Travis, there are many good EPs. Unfortunately on major centers and with the hype of success we will slowly but surely become only numbers. Natale is one of the best. as far as excuses of other patients and extended procedures etc. Thats no excuse we all should be treated with utmost respect and care. I have had four ablations none of mine were under 7 hours! So they should plan on it. thby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
When you guys say nsr etc. Does that mean you have perfect heart beat? No pvc or pac or does that mean afib free but with some other hits hear and there?by tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks Shannon...Awesomeby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
When they do an ablation they are very close or at the esophagus wall. One risk is that they heat the wall too much and actually burn through or damage the esophagus with heat either way just the burning close to the wall may cause irritation and if any stomach acid is present it will greatly irritate you!by tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Does anyone know if or why Rogaine would be a contributer to afib or other palpitations? Im just curious. The ingredient minoxidil is not a steroid and just wondering if it could cause any disturbances.by tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
I drink socially. I usually hydrate the days I know Ill have a few. and.......alcohol isnt a trigger for everyoneby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
It can be done. Mine were targeted in Feb but the equipment wnt down!!!!by tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
This is the kind of STUFF that confuses me..........They say inflammation can cause or trigger afib so why would taking something to reduce inflammation cause it???????? Its like this with every reason some one comes up withby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Ive taken the flu shot for years and never had a problem other than a sore arm. I cant imagine what link the shot and triggering afib there would be. I mean at worst (and they say its not possible) the flu shot gave you the flu. whats the difference if you got the flu??? Ill take my chance with the shot I havent had any flu past two seasons and mild before(with shot)by tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Well I hit my 8month mark. All in all pretty good. I do have bumps here and there but not sustained until this week!!! Traveled to DC and when I got of plane, of course rushing thru airport I had about a ten minute episode of something. I am discouraged to a point. My EP did say give about a year because some flutter is common thru the scar....... I don't know. Discouraged more than sby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
McHale, I understand your point also. Do I worry about other diseases that can afflict us? He#$ yeas I do. I am healthy 50 yrs old. To see me you would guess Im 39-40 (genetics). I enjoy life, sex, my kids, people. I was 25 and blinked my eyes and now Im 50! Blink again I'll be 70. I dont tread on the future but I do try to live healthy now (knida) so I can be healthy later.by tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
McHale We all know the "Marines" (and I am one of them) if lucky are relieved with extensive burning......but what is the long term effect? What happens 20 years from now with all that scar tissue building up? Thats the point. I definetly worry about that....Dont you? Mandrola is a very good doctor. Ive met him. He aires on the side of caution like some others. Thats allby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
