The past several weeks I have experienced an increase in palps which a cpl of times triggered into afib or flutter. Even daily just have noticed more activity and have thought and thought about what has changed??? I'm thinking spring allergies? Am I eating differently ? Not enough lsv8? So two night ago I awoke to pacs constant which had subsided at my last ablation 2 yrs ago and just loosiby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM

Well here I sit...heart is booming, feel like my head may pop off, left shoulder kinda hurting. These are some of my typical symptoms when afib Kicks in. I remember them well! I've had a two year run not perfect, but fealt like my life was somewhat in order. And jan 1 this year I'm going back to my old ways. More and more episodes. It's like the floodgate has opened again! I notice increased PAC’s when I push too much. Do others feel that? Yes I do. I can lift weights at a pace but I cant do cardio stuff without causing weird beats. Im now about 20 yrs into this afib mess and its been that way ever since the beginning If they will do an ablation based on the episodes you have had, I wouldnt wait. I would however find the best doc possible. Dont be an experiby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Duke, I dont think you know, til you know! Im just over two years and starting to have some creep thrus! If I was you Id keep doin what im doin and count my blessings! Timby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
I forgot about that post... Yes Jackie thanks so much. I guess we need to remember we all don't react or even notice some of the affects of the drugs we take. I am still on a small dose. And seem to tolerate it ok but everyone just needs to be aware of what's going on in their bodies and I will say my Ep who is a fantastic doctor acted lilies I was crazy the first time with my LBBB vby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Wow extremely interesting Shannon thanks so much. Yes I progressed with the "old" afib floppy for about two hours yesterday and then it broke on its own!! Im moving forward with my Dr. Natale appt. I think this was my sign!!! Thanks for everything Timby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Yes, after my last ablation (first left atrium ablation). After a while I began walking stairways with some co-workers as exercise. I was noticing a weird dis-rhythm. After a few times of this happening, I left work and went to an EMS office and had an EKG. I could still feel the weird rhythm but the guy was telling me my EKG strip was normal. This went on another two weeks, only under exertiby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Really heather so you think those have a roll in this? I avoid the cough meds wasn't sure about ibuprofen etc I'm in for an hour so far guess I'll see what happensby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
On day two of the flu. Lots of Ibuprofen some nite time cold and flu med. and now......runs of afib or something to go along with it I'm trying to hydrate with Gatorade had a lsv8 any other suggestions would be great. I'm not feeling so well. I take a 75 mg flecainide in mornings wonder if I should take another now?? No green beer for me todayby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM

Thanks Shannon, great reporting. I wish Mchale the best!!by tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Rylar. One week isnt long enough to know if your ablation helped. There is a period of curing that can last several months. Everything in there is inflamed right now. Think of it this way; A scar is what blocks these radical pathways. If you cut your finger it is sensitive and painful for a time period before a scar develops and then it is cured. The scar tissue will take time and at the sameby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Im sorry, but yeah when I read this post it kind of ran thru me. What difference does race make?? Anyone that suffers from this needs help. Im sure somehow my tax dollars will be at work with this.............................. Funding should go towards a cure for all.by tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Folks Well after 32 years with the same engineering firm I have found we will all be loosing our jobs in Sept. I will have medical insurance until December. Some may know I am on year two since my PVI ablation and have done pretty well. I had an episode Christmas Eve and since have had a couple of short runs. Based on this I think maybe the beast is creeping back in!!!! I know someby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Drink a damn pina colada!! We only live once. I have special occasion drinks and yes sometimes it gives me some extra bumps but I live in the moment and have a good time! Actually my EP said if you are going to have an occasional drink its almost better to do more often than not because the system adjusts to it. If you are really anxious about it don't do it. More than likely (if somethby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
I dont sleep well, Im not sure it is because of the Flec ?? I used to have a lot of uncomfortable sternum related "stuff" but again maybe GERD or GBladder or Anxiety not sure that is Flec. Id say you had a lot of anx with surgery etc. so the anx of it prob led to your episode.by tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
If they can find the area they are coming from during an ablation they can be ablated. Evidently this isnt always so easy for whatever reason.by tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
I take 75 mg Flec in the morning and 1/2 25 mg toprol XL at night. there is some interaction between the two with me. This is my reduced dose of Flec aft my afib ablation. The reason is some ectopics they could not kill that bother me a lot. Flec helps to control them. I am a Flecanide "KING" I have had every bad effect from this drug you can get but sometimes there are no options.by tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hey folks, Happy to say I havent had another sustained episode since my Christmas Day event! We all know how stress affects our hearts. Along with other intricacies stress can be a huge trigger for us afibbers. Well I am 53 now and have been working as an Engineer for 31 years with the same company. I have two beautiful daughters in college. Last week during our corporate meeting Japanese maby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Sam, Ive been thru exact same situation. Doc figured I had no blockage but because of my chest pressure and kind of breathlessness they wanted to check. As they thought, nothing wrong. everyone worries the procedure may cause an episode. I even worry like when a dentist tilts you back almost upside down. But I usually just figure Hey......roll with it. If you had a problem at least you aby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Truly I believe you are still in the "blanking" period. these things happen up to 8 months and sometimes a little longer until it all settles. Talk to the doc and hang in there Timby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks george that's what I planned on an extended episode. I have a hard time with flecainide causing other weird heart side effects when my daily doses were higher. I guess my use as a pip wouldn't bother much. Thank you george for your help Timby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thank you Shannon for your encouragement and all your work. I really appreciate your efforts and kindness. God bless you and your family Timby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thank you ton. Not sure why he continued the 75mg. Kind of weird when I looked out the window and noticed a full moon! Tho they say it has nothing to do with anything not sure I believe it.manyway it finally broke aft about an hour or so. Even tho my Ep cont the small flec dose he discontinued my 6mth visits. I guess I'll see how this goes before making an appt. Tho I feel it's prob goiby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
