Is there a list or maybe it would be a good idea to have a list so newcomers as well as myself could distinguish between vagal triggers and adrenalic triggers. For example Quick movement over eating exercise resting (slowed heart rate) Cold water We often talk about a vagal trigger or other triggers but might be not so clear to some Thanks Timby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thank You JAckie. I bought WW ingredients today will start this weekend. My calcium intake is relatively low to moderate no dairy much cheese occasionally sodium intake yes is from eating out. I eat healthy country diner meal for my big meal everyday but as the cook there said its a lot of grease, salt, seasonings etc. I do the topical mag on calves it might help a little but not definitivby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Following up after my ablation with Natale in Austin (June 14) I was taken off the Multaq this week and have noticed a bit of upturn in the pac's. (kind of stressing me) According to my follow-up here in Kentucky with my usual EP, I have an option of going back on low does Flec and Toprol Right now Im trying to get right with the BIG 4 (calc, pot, mad and sodium). I am supplementing anby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Awesome news LindaE! I am 2 moths out from my Austin ablation. In NSR but have quite a few PACs. Hate that!!by tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
WOW how absolutely fantastic!! I love to hear IT!!!by tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thank you Jackie, you're an angel. I don't take taurine, mayb I need to look at thatby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks Smackman, but no I don't have anxiety as a matter of fact I'm entering a less stressful part of life. That's kind of the purpose of these procedures, right? So we can live our day to day ups and downs without experiencing some altered state of heart function. Just wondering................by tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Since my Natale update completed in June been experiencing seemingly more Pvcs pacs. I am also having afib runs occasionally incl a hairy one this morning. So far converted by coughing. Not sure if this could be contributed somewhat to the change in meds? I was removed from flec and placed on multaq. Finally got over the stomach issues but just wonder about these runs. I guess technically Iby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
This program is bad a$$ Love it thanksby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
How do you know so soon that a second ablation is necessary? I mean the "blanking" period is 6 mths to a year, right ???by tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
ssrehman, Make sure if you are considering ablation find the most experienced person your insurance will pay. This time I traveled from KY all the way to Austin TX to be cared for by the best EP in the world. It is worth the time and effort. It was my 6 th ablation, but only the 2 nd on the left atrium for Afib. The reason you will see many multiple ablations is because of EPs that are notby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Smackman good to hear from you. Im glad you are well. So far I am having blurps here and there few short runs that break fast but overall very good other than the med. Its weird they took me off Metoprolol/Flec and on Multaq Im looking forward to peace of mind for both of us!!! Timby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
So I avoid reading side effects on meds for obvious reasons. Since my ablation on June 15, I was taken off Flec and put on Multaq. I wondered why at the time and cant help but think Im part of yet another experiment. I guess docs have their reasons and favorite drugs to give out. So after having days of upset stomach, nights of indigestion including last night when I thought I may have to gby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Robert, The main most important question to her or anyone is who is the most available and best EP heart doc for you? Just note that a regular cardiologist, fam doc, nurses etc may understand the basics of afib but not totally understand all the intricate details. I just recently was versed by a friend who is a nurse practitioner at a hospital setting about afib. She had NO idea what she was tby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
I am now one month post ablation (Austin TX, Natale). Feeling quite a few skips and jumps here and there, nothing sustained. I have coughed to stop a cpl episodes. Kind of feeling the same ole feelings here and there. Blessed on nothing lasting tho, Im hoping this stops after my "blanking". I was put on a new med (Off Flecainide and on Multaq). I was always very symtomatic to negaby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Robert, Like you my afib started at 36 Im 54 now. Still alive even tho many many times I would have bet Id croaked by now. You will someday die but not from Afib. It is very distressing and a total mind $%#& !! This disease triggers your mind into believing something terrible is happening. I get it. Even after all these years my initial response is a slight panic quickly diffusing to Ohby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
I also need to add. The hospital is awesome (St. David's). The care from wheelchair pushers to the Doctors extremely caring and polite. Food is top notch for any restaurant....way outdoing any hospital I am aware of. dr. NAtale and staff are superb. I stayed at the Days Inn right across street and it was nice, clean with a decent restaurant next door. All I can say are good things. Myby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Well this week seems like a blur. From KY to Austin for what I thought would be a "touch-up" PVIA For sev years I have debated with myself and others at times about EP docs and centers. It seems that if these docs have the same, most recent tech and means to equipment to preform these PVI ablations, LAA isolations, CS isolations and so-on we would assume that any experienced EP couldby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM

Well got here to St David's at 10 am waiting for Natale to finish up another case. I am really nervous but with Shannon's good words I am feeling optimistic. I pray everything goes well not only for me but for all of us. T minus 30 min and counting.by tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Well I see Natale on Tuesday stopped meds as directed on Friday. I'm having some weird stuff. Nothing sustained but kinda feel like it might jump into afib. What do I do.?? My rate gets uncomfortable 165. I don't want to take anything to mess with my upcoming ablation. Just in case I have an episode any suggestions??? This is a good one for Shannon and Jackie! My actual procedure iby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Yes! some people seem to luck out and have nothing but in my case. I was in and out for a month with odd and weird ectopics. Think about it they have burned and scarred all the tissue in there everything is inflamed and irritated. To me the fact that I was having a lot of episodes told me they were in the right location during the ablation because those areas must be really irritated. Hangby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Well............Ill be in Austin on tuesday morning!!! Hang on Natale i'm coming! Trying to fight the demon in my head telling me "I dont need to go" !! I hope and Pray everything goes well! I would be lying if I said I am not nervous and afraid!!!!! Timby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
I have had a hot tub for years. Not sure about Fluoride, seems the "fluoride" would dissipate not like you are constantly replenishing the water. I do notice some hits here and there while in the hot tub. My opinion is you are putting some stress on some body systems from the heat and changes it is causing in your body. I use it to relax and try to ignore any odd hits I get.by tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
We are talking only about Left atrium ablations.......correct??by tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
I was instructed once to just take a thinner if I go into flutter or fib. vs all the time. You may stay NSR from now on out who knows. Timby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
I am scheduled with Natale in June for a touch up ablation. Index ablation done in Lex, KY 2 yrs ago. When asking travel questions to the facility I was sent immediately information on LAA ablation and consequences from the procedure. I have never discussed LAA ablation or anything to do with that area. So im just curious. Now-a-days is it just auto assumed by the care provider that there wiby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Kristina, yep herein lies the problem. Im in same boat as your hubby. I scheduled for Dr. Natale in June. I have a great EP here but worry if my followup care will be the same with him now that Ive "jumped ship". Many times in hospitals, Doctor office even speaking to a reg caridologist I am amazed at how very little some understand Afib and its related demons. Ive been told mis-infby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
