Admittedly I should know the answers (from experience) to the following but am calling on my experts out there for clarification. I am experiencing something weird again. Had pacs past week.they have subsided but upon exertion or an increase in heart rate, I have some palps until HR goes back down. Feels like Junctional or lbbb I have experienced years ago. Have no idea why it would start now. I&by tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
I'm not sure of your history but because you have a Kardia I assume you have or have had some issues. I have had the anxious feelings you describe including almost a buzzing feeling in my chest. It's hard to pinpoint those types of feelings I do feel like they were heart related but who knows. I have learned there are rhythms that sometimes aren't shown on meters. There are rhythmby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM

Do NOT stay in the Howard Johnsons, a herd of roaches literally picked up my pack of crackers and we're moving across the floor. I think 5mg 2x is the norm. I had no problem with this med at all, I'm not sure why people seem to be a bit fearful sometimes. It is to me the best option for thinning. I so think my actual blood seems thinner on 81 mg aspirin daily. I would listen to the doc on this one.by tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
Jackie, Shannon as always your work and help on here is so appreciated. Thank you for the responses. And yes Shannon I respect your knowledge of all this you are usually spot on. Hi everyone. Shannon / Jackie it's been a while. Ive enjoyed my peace over the past year but unfortunately I'm back. I knew at some point I'd be back just was hoping for a longer dyration. I'm 14 months post st David's. I have had a great summer. I've worked a lot in the sun including some strenuous tasks that I had missed thru the years. I did choose to skip my flu shot this year and thinking I had dodged a bullet I took it on the chin a week ago. This morning I actually went to th ER concerned it was morphing into pneumonia and afraid it would cause problems with my afib. So during this week of sickness and even on monitors at the hospital I had no weird heart stuff going on. Of course I've not eaten well at all. Did get ivby tsco - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM

Tom C surely must be just some weird phenom. If its sugars etc. Do you do the same with sodas or other juices? I mean those would be high in sugar. Switch to orange juice, pineapple juice see if you get the same. If we are that sensitive to the pesticides and waters used in crop productions not sure what we can eat?????and drink! Hey Smackman, Yea it seems everyone thinks or wants us to think the PVCs and PACs are just little incidental things that we should shrudge off. It's not easy to do that. They can be real bothersome and alarming at times. The biggest thing for me is they seem to just pull me down to that place where my mind feels like somethings wrong. Like a constant reminder. So with my ablation in June of this year I assumed a total isolation in the pulmonary veins would "kill" most of the rogue atrial contractions?? Contrary they have seemed to increase. Hey Evone! I'm still alive. June was my ablation with Natale so I'm around 5 mthe post...... I have some small bursts of fib or flut occasionally. My biggest notice is I have more episodes of pacs it seems. So something def changed there?? Did I see someone post that an increase in potassium was called for in cases of pacs? After seeing Smackmans post on the UN affordability of eliquis I got to experience this firsthand. I have a new job hence new insurance and I'm finding it's not very good insurance. My eliquis at Walmart was going to be $370 for a 30 day supply! No Way! So a very nice clerk tipped me off that I could contact eliquis and request a co-pay card or number for a reduced price. Thanks folks. Part of my point or question is why is the heart "instantly" affected by alcohol consumption but not by consumption of all the minerals I think Jackie hit on it that it is a complex combo of all the diff minerals.by tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
This post is more from curiosity. We all struggle trying to find some answer, some strategy, some relief. Most of us are affected by alcohol whether it's the few beers just socializing, or the glass of wine or bourbon to relax. Sometimes just a beer or two can start the ectopics or nasty little runs. It seems the heart is so attuned to the mere presence of booze. On the other hand I can intaby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM

Hey Smackman, I am now off the multaq (Natale had me on) and off flecainide from before this ablation. I do take eliquis they say up to at least month 6. To be honest I have more bumps and small burst they are all short and quick, to quick to even record with my handheld. I have had a period of pacs, kinda like Chinese water torture, so I started taking metoprolol Xl myself to calm them. I thinkby tsco - AFIBBERS FORUM
