My Cather Ablation with Dr. Natale in Austin is scheduled for Feb.27. My Ablation will be a "live presentation". My wife will be able to watch the procedure. They hurt the bridge of my nose; It feels uncomfortable on my forehead, etc. I have tried diligently to make this CPAP work for me; I do not get quality sleep when using it. I wake up with the dry mouth; I use Bioten; I have tried for a year but especially the last 5 months. I have to have a fuby smackman - AFIBBERS FORUM
I drink the Waller Water daily; up to 1/2 gallon. This should add magnesium to my body. My Doctors insist on me taking a statin because I have had a stent in the past and I am a Persistent Afibber. I take 10 mg a day of Lipitor. I read some articles about Statins that are bad; Damn if you do; Damn if you don't. I will be taking a physical in the near future. I started having heart palpitations this afternoon. This scares the Hell out of me. Is this a sign of AFIB coming back? My heart is skipping beats and making me nervous which makes matters worse. I have been doing so well but right now I am worried. Am I over thinking this? Maybe the Antibiotic I started last night is causing this (Doxycycline). ? Any advice would be appreciated. Has anyone taken this antibiotic? I have a Respiratory Infection and I need a antibiotic. I ran doxycycline in 2 different drug checker interaction sites with the meds I take and found no side effects. It is Friday; I live in the country and no Doctor offices are open.by smackman - AFIBBERS FORUM

I never intended on asking that question but it popped in my head when he started talking about sleep apnea and laying on your side. For me, I believe my biggest trigger is Anxiety.by smackman - AFIBBERS FORUM
I ask Dr. Natale about AFIB and laying on your left side. He does not believe laying on your left side, right side whatever side causes AFIB episodes. This conversation came up when talking to him about my sleep apnea. I struggle with wearing the mask. Dr. Natale said laying on your side causes less sleep apnea episodes. He told me why this is so and then I ask about AFIB and laying on youby smackman - AFIBBERS FORUM

It went well. My EKG showed me to be in NSR which I have been for 3 months taking Multaq and Metoprolol. The very 1st thing he did was to take me off Pradaxa and put me on Xarelto or Eliquis. I chose Xarelto because it is 1x a day. Dr. Natale is NOT a fan of Pradaxa; He said it has not shown him good results against blood clots....... He told me my situation could wait; No need to hurry.
