Yup, me too. Had my first and only ablation with Natale in May 2015. Not a problem since. Best wishesby Que - AFIBBERS FORUM
Does anyone have a Magnesium supplement suggestion now that Dr. Best's quality is in question? FYI, I get these aura migraines and stop them with a dose of Mag. Thanks!by Que - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hello, I have a friend suffering from water retention due to an Rx and thought I would see if anyone had any tips here to help deal with this situation. Thanks!by Que - AFIBBERS FORUM
I have been using Doctor's Best for the past 2 years too. Also has been effective in stopping retinal migraines for me If anyone has an alternative please let me know!by Que - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hello Friends, I've returned to San Francisco and with our fires (what a tragedy!) want to switch to bottled water for some time. San Francisco water comes from an outdoor reservoir that I fear might be contaminated with the smoke and debris wafting through the air. Any recommendations. Good news is that at work we have a countertop water purifier—need to double check on the brand/namby Que - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi All, Ok, thanks for the advice. I'll give it some thought. Now that I think about it there were 2 nights when my AliveCor had a lot of squiggly lines between big waves (QRS). I just sent it off to AliveCor for a professional reading. The algorithm said it was ok, but I thought a second "human" opinion was warranted. Best regards, Qby Que - AFIBBERS FORUM

Hello, I'm happy to report that at 2 years since my ablation with Dr. Natale I remain Afib free! Yeah! Thanks to all of those here who provided great advice and many thanks to Dr. Natale and his staff in SF. Recently I've been experimenting with adding a nightly glass of wine back into in my routine. To date and as verified by my nightly check with my AlivCor device and a recent 2by Que - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hello Dear Friends, Someone close to me has been diagnosed with breast cancer and I'm hoping that my friends here might have some resources as we look into treatment options. My friend is located in the Los Angeles area and one concern is finding the best doctor there. Any help is greatly appreciated!by Que - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Hello, I'm going to travel soon and was considering starting a Nato Supplement for 2 reasons: • Was eating Nato frequently but I don't think I can find it in the Netherlands and other locals (maybe Shannon knows where to get it in NL) • I'm won't have my latest Zio Patch report prior to flying and thought it could be a good safety net until I know of my latest Zio Patchby Que - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thank you Shannon! Yes, got the email and thanks for posting here too. I will reach out to Dr. Boersma. Let me know about the designs. Qby Que - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi all, I'm looking to set up a residence in the Netherlands, haven't decided where exactly yet. I need to find a good EP. Any recommendations? Guessing this is something Shannon could easily answer but if anyone else has some advice that would be great. I am back in NSR but this would be for continuing support/care. I don't speak Dutch, but then most Dutch are pretty English coby Que - AFIBBERS FORUM

Hello All, I've been a little absent from this helpful forum and apologies for that, but it is for the good news that I've been able to return to my old life pre-afib (more or less). It's been a little over a year since my Natale ablation and all is well. Nothing but NSR since the procedure (minus a few days right after, which is common). Of course, I'm still caring for mysby Que - AFIBBERS FORUM
I was just about to post this. Here's the Stanford article: They are recruiting for participants in the clinical trial. Go Stanford! I was fortunate to go there and have to say I was thoroughly impressed.by Que - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hello, I have the happy news to share that 8 months post my Natale ablation that I've been given the green light today to stop Eliquis from Dr. Natale. I've had a fairly straightforward recovery since my ablation in May with only one incident of flutter about a week after the procedure, which self-corrected on its own. My echo and Zio patch both show a remarkable recovery with normalby Que - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Jackie, Regarding my Magnesium level of 34.9. My FM MD recommended I increase to 800mg daily of Magnesium Glycinate, which I've done. Do you think that will suffice? By the way, I'm not having any bowel issues. Ok, I've tracked down the Interpretation Guidelines. I can't say they provide much help. Hi All, Ok, so I got my Vit D levels back. This is where I'm at over time: VITAMIN D • 6-22-15 (baseline): 20.2 ng/ml • 8-21-15 (spending 30+ minutes/day in the sun during summer): 33.5 ng/ml • 12-11-15 (added 5000 IU daily of Vit D3 and Vit K1/K1 2200 mcg daily and getting some sun but less due to winter): 46 ng/ml. CALCIUM (Serum test) • 12-12-15 Calcium 9.3 mg/dL (standardby Que - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hello, Yes, that is Dr John Day at Intermountain. He absolutely agrees that Vit D is essential, however he points to a number of studies that show that supplementation isn't therapeutic. He advocates for sunlight and food as sources of Vit D. Jackie, thanks. I haven't had a chance to read your post. I will and will write back. Thanks, Qby Que - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hello, Could someone plesae provide a little guidance. I got my new Exatest results back. Good news is that my Magnesium deficiency has improved from 32.9 (standard range 34-42) to 34.9. I added 600mg of Mag daily. Now, though, my Potassium/Calcium ratio is high at 42.7 (standard range 19.1-38). My previous Potassium/Calcium ratio was 30.8. My Potassium/Magnesium ratio is also high at 5by Que - AFIBBERS FORUM

I would also add that an unexpected side effect of joining this group and being treated for my AFib is that it has made me a much more proactive participant in my health. It really is noticable and really great. So thanks for that too! Qby Que - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hello, Hope it helps. This is all really new territory for me. I've been working on my sleep for months now. I was diagnosed with mild sleep apnea and have chosen a dental device for treatment. It takes a little getting use to but is less invasive than CPAP. As well have been working on some insomnia issue by using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. That has proved quite helpful. Hi all, I came across a very well-written blog about gut health and sleep. It's an individual's account and research into wrestling with his IBD. This particular post deals with how a sick gut can impair one's sleep, however I have enjoyed reading other posts on the blog. Gut Critters Blog Queby Que - AFIBBERS FORUM
