Try adding some taurine supplements by NOW company. Not only is it good for any arrhythmia but also one of the best supplement for improving digestion and bile flow anytime you eat carbs. Start with 4-6 grams a day and see how it works for you, at one point I was taking 10-15 grams a day and it eliminated my bloating and gut problems.by johnnyS - AFIBBERS FORUM
Remove high carbs, sugar, and fiber, it just makes it worse, as fiber actually increases constipation. If you can change your diet, do include more animal fats and protein, it takes a couple of days to adjust but it 100% works at eliminating constipation. Also, coffee can be of great help to stay regular, and drink plenty of water.by johnnyS - AFIBBERS FORUM

Years ago I was a vegetarian only and loved mostly grilled vegetables like eggplant and peppers but could never get satiated and over time felt awful, so after a year I did a whole panel of labs and discovered I was B12, iron, zinc, Vitamin D deficient, and for whatever reason had sky high cholesterol when I eat no meat at all. Keep in mind non of those deficiencies can be addressed with eating mby johnnyS - AFIBBERS FORUM
I’ve always had some stomach issues associated with elevated heart rate. Like most of you I associated coffee and chocolate as triggers so much that it actually provoked pacs every single time I had either few pieces of chocolate or few ounces of coffee. In my opinion all of this points to low blood volume almost like hypovolemia caused by an electrolyte imbalance. I have seen many of my overweight friends going on quick fix diets and suddenly end up complaining of fainting or palpitations, especially with any sudden movements, laying on the left or even bending over would provoke ectopics. In most people this is going to be the case and it has nby johnnyS - AFIBBERS FORUM
Update, it wasn’t the k-2, I seem to have what one other person on this forum has which is too much acid traveling upwards. When I consumed nattto it didn’t happen but as soon as I switched to k-2 supplements, within a month it become an issue. When I resumed fasting and quit taking any supplements ectopics vanished, as soon as I started eating they came back, so this time I took famitidine h2 anby johnnyS - AFIBBERS FORUM
I know a lot of you on this forum are fans of Vitamin k-2. I regularly consume natto for breakfast and recently switched to pill form about 100mcg of Vitamin k-2 mk7 made from natto in Japan. A week later I started getting frequent ectopics which seem to increase as I continued to take K-2, in fact I took 200mcg just to experiment and sure enough by evening time the ectopics increased. How did melatonin cause heart pain I wonder, can’t find any studies linking to this. How long did you take it for?by johnnyS - AFIBBERS FORUM
Yes, but all devices suffer from this issue, especially if you’re wearing it all day. Apples official answer is “For a small percentage of users, various factors may make it difficult to get a blood oxygen measurement including motion, watch placement on the wrist, skin temperature and skin perfusion, and the blood oxygen app provides dynamic feedback to help users get the best reading possible.”by johnnyS - AFIBBERS FORUM
Apple Watch series 6 has been out for few months already and studies have confirmed its accuracy of detecting osa with over 90%. I’ve tested all kinds of osa devices and honestly this is by far the most accurate and easiest way of tracking your sleep oxygen level as well as heart rate with a well organized app storing all of your data.by johnnyS - AFIBBERS FORUM
Pompon, If your afib is triggered by digestive issues you might want to add ginger extract to your diet. Not only does it enhance digestion but also improves stomach acid and has other anti-inflammatory benefits. I use ginger extract whenever eating any big meals and one side effect is that you’ll never feel full. George, My issue wasn’t only the apnea which was moderate, but also the sleeping position so I recorded myself with a camera for an entire week and this made me realize that the body shifts and you end up all twisted especially if you had a late night meal and you’re not tired or can’t fall asleep. So I changed my habits, no carbs, sugar or dairy and don’t eat after 4pm, sleeping on side onlyby johnnyS - AFIBBERS FORUM
Nlama, Have you ever consider the possibility that your wellvue is wrong? Mine was, It’s a cheap Chinese device that relies on outdated software. Sleep apnea was one of the causes my dad had afib and ultimately a stroke, so I’ve always been careful about my sleeping o2 levels. There are plenty of devices out there to monitor your O2, and many months ago I tested the welllvue along with my wifeby johnnyS - AFIBBERS FORUM
It wasn’t dangerous or hard for my 74 year mother who I convinced and she had the same issue but within three months had no more need for diabetes pills or blood pressure meds all caused by inflammation.by johnnyS - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Yea, this is really easy, try intermittent fasting for at least 8-16 hours eating once or twice a day. At 37, eating 4-5 small meals I was told that by my GP that my blood pressure can’t be controlled by diet or weight, since I was normal BMI, well fasting did the trick and three years later my BP is never higher than 110/70. I basically started eating only two small meals then switched to one laby johnnyS - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Pompon, I recently wrote about a friend who had an afib episodes after eating a large buffet style meal and woke up in afib. My thinking was that his stomach motility was slow and recommended that he take giby johnnyS - AFIBBERS FORUM
That’s so interesting, I’m seeing this occurring more and more lately. Including myself who never had afib I’m aware of at least five other non affibers who had the same issue as a result of overdosing on vitamin D3 which was prescribed by their doctors. The interesting thing is that it stays in your system for around 2 weeks at least so palpitations will mostly be less and less everyday. I wouldby johnnyS - AFIBBERS FORUM
I would definitely eliminate vitamin D3 in supplement form and focus on magnesium instead. I’m sure you’re aware that taking large doses of vitamin D can induce severe depletion of Mg, hence your afib. Many on this forum complained of increase in ectopics after taking higher dosages (more than 1000ius) of vitamin D3. I would take Mg to bowel tolerance and keep it there for awhile. I just got a word that they put PLAQUENIL on shortage list and can’t be reordered nationwide, this med has been around for 70 years so it’s safe and widely used. Some of you are worried and I thought I share something from a friend of mine who contributed to this research study and I thought some of you might want to consider it in case you get Coronavirus given the afib.
