On this Memorial Day, we honor the sacrifices of prior generations. We honor the sacrifices of the men and women next door who have served or continue to serve our country. And we pledge never to forget the true meaning of Memorial Day. McHaleby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM

Monty, You know my story....I waited and stroked out! I owe Shannon the boot in my ass as he constantly and was relentless in keeping me from backing out..... Join the club and we will see you on the other side! Just do it and don't look back...Best thing I ever did in my life! McHaleby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
I used to pump heavy iron and used many forms of creatine for about 12 years. Man the stuff really worked and I could pound some serious weight but then afib reared its ugly head and stopped a few years back when I read the connection. Natale also warned me to stop the heavy workouts as he also sees many damaged hearts from heavy weightlifters with valve issues, fibrosis, afib etc.... McHaby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
Simply amazing how Natale targeted my coronary sinus, posterior wall, roof line and a full PVAI while I listened to clearly clueless EPs last month at the Montefiore seminar basically claim being aggressive is not needed and overkill. I saw Natale's and Di Biase faces light up as they countered less is not more and not in anyone's best interest. I even confronted one of the clueless EPby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
Researcher, Yep approaching 2 years, can you believe it! Thanks for all your support with all my trepidation! To think I almost cancelled with The Maestro....damn I'd be kicking myself in the ass block after city block I have true affection and admiration for Natale, such a Gem of a man. Keith, I met Dr Natale for the initial consultation in New York for the first time May 28 at 12:30pm almost two years ago. Two hours later he had me under and started ablating........go figure that one out...... Run Forest run would be most patients reaction when a doctor asks you do you have any free time this afternoon so I can burn your heart.... McHaleby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
Steve, Congrats on 4 years of NSR, good to hear! Ironically I had my ablation at St Luke's here in New York but it was with Dr Natale. Went to a conference again last week to see the Maestro sponsored by Montefiore's Luigi Di Biase his protoge at the Ritz-Carlton. He gave us his undivided attention once again for 15-20 minutes to speak with us. Approaching the 2 year mark in May.by McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
You know what I'm saying....NO!!! to natural blood thinners when you have AFIB! McHaleby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
I went to a conference today to hear Dr Natale and Luigi Di Biase who chaired the event speak along with a host of other doctors or EP's. During the Q&A I was amazed to hear that some clueless EP's still believe less is more and trying different variations of FIRM which never took off the way it was hyped. It was a bit testy when Andreas and Lugi jumped in to counter the rotor or leby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hey Travis, Glad you're on the other side, now all that worrying for nothing. We were with Dr Natale today or was it yesterday now at the conference, what an amazing doctor to give us his undivided attention. He spent about 10-15 minutes talking with us, Barb and Dennis and myself. Simply the Best, McHaleby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
NO NONO NONONO! A stroke is forever....trust me I've been there! AFIB stroke are the most devastating! McHaleby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM

Wow Fantastic News! You deserve the best my friend, you've helped so many. Sorry I'm late to the party, been engulfed with work! Godspeed recovery Magdalena, McHaleby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
Travis, I think you are sweating too much over this and getting yourself twisted in knots, which can't be good for your stress levels or afib. This as I sit here typing with a calm heart wondering where I would be if I didn't get it done, now 20 months out post-op. Will things get slightly worse while your lesions heal....maybe...will you go into flutter.....slight chance...is Nataleby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
Shannon, Wishing you and Magdalena the very Best in 2015! Blessings my Friend, McHaleby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
Gianfranco, Good to hear from you again. Last post I remember from you was you went out for a jog 4-5 months out from your procedure and the beast came back? Glad you had a touch up and are doing well. Was it a reconnection or another spot outside the PV's? Dr Pinski is also a top gun, as he trained under Natale while at CC if I recall. McHaleby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
Travis, Now do you believe me what I said about Dr Natale......simply the best and the most compassionate doctor you will ever meet. When I had my ablation done at St Lukes here in New York I was one of his first patients.......Dr Danik was listed as also doing my ablation so I had concerns that maybe he handed off part off the procedure to him which I was told he does not do as his signatureby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
Shannon, God Bless your beautiful wife my dear friend! Anything you need just call! Magdalena you got one amazing man you married who has helped God knows how many of us. I know that he will guide you to the best care and put you in the hands of Angels. What he's done for me during my times of hopelessness and despair is priceless! Godspeed Recovery, McHaleby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
Smackman, I'm also scheduled for a colonoscopy, for Wed Dec 3, using TriLyte to purge. Now all you BOYS and GIRLS have you all scheduled your procedures including endoscopies....The big bad AFIB monster might not get you but the one in your colon and , throat and stomach might..... will........ This has been a Public service announcement from the McHale Radio Network. McHaleby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hey AF, I'm always vigilant I guess, do suffer from ectopics or pac's/pvcs but those seem to have basically disappeared in frequency. My heart hasn't always been quiet but its good to know that during those times it was not the BEAST. Just my security blanket, remember I had a TIA so just being very cautious since I choose to drop the Xarelto 5 months ago. McHaleby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
Natale is strictly RF no cyro nor laser nor any combo; doesn't feel cyro compares to RF durability. McHaleby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
Alan, Those statistics from from the stone age 2000-2002. I would dare say Natale's success rate the last few years since the advent of irrigated catheters is somewhere nearer to 80-85% now after a single procedure. McHaleby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
Ken, Great to hear more ablation success stories long term! Best, McHaleby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
George, Yes I'm using insights, went back month by month for all recordings. They started sending me a weekly AliveCor report last month and when I logged in and I realized it was all saved up to their cloud. There were plenty of recordings when my heart wasn't calm between the S-T intervals but the RR intervals were always evenly spaced so i knew it wasn't afib as my pulse wasby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
