I'm about 3 years out from my successful Natale ablation and past week started throwing tons of PAC's. For reference I wore a 7 day monitor in Feburary which only picked up 110 for 7 days. Have not done a monitor yet but extrapolating from random Kardia's I have been running, could be 1000's now. Haven't really changed anything and have begun religously drinking wateby Fibrillator - AFIBBERS FORUM
My skin hates them too. Worst part about wearing them. Even when I use the tape that claims to not irritate my skin it does so I just deal.by Fibrillator - AFIBBERS FORUM
PAC's are increasing and I can feel them more. Natale crew says nothing to do at moment but will wear a monitor again in another 3 months. I can taks occassional Kardia strips which are 30 seconds and have none and in some I will throw 4 or 5. Just depends. My heartrate is not jumping up though as a reult of them. Interesting I used to get more PVC's and not getting any of those nowby Fibrillator - AFIBBERS FORUM
QuoteCarey You cannot imagine how much I sincerely wish I had visited the "aggressive" guy first. It would have saved me years of misery and $10s of thousands of dollars. Ask yourself how many ablations you want. If your answer is one, then your best odds of achieving that are already scheduled. Why did they say Tikosyn was better for you if you want to share for education? Flecainide is welll tolerated and usualy does not require a hosptial stay. Many can convert from 1 pill of 100mg depending up to 300mg if I recall. Before my afib became basically permanent it always converted me well and kept me in rhythm for a year with little drama. I developed Aura Migraines for the 1st time about 4.5 years ago 1 week after my 1st ablation. You an go find my old posts. I still have them to this day usually about 2 per month. Prior to that I was never even a headache guy and did not know the term Aura. I thought I was having a stroke on my 1st one and that sent me the the ER. I am about 2.5 years post my 4th ablation (1st with natale). have been on no drugs since. I just wore a monitor for 7 days which picked up one PVC and 110 PAC's and one tachycardia run of 145BPM that lasted 4 beats. I have had a few of the short Tachycardia runs over the last few months, some lasting maybe 10 to 15 seconds. What that will evolve into is just a wait and see at this poinby Fibrillator - AFIBBERS FORUM
Well either my EP and everyone he consulted with at a top teaching hospital here in a major city stunk after attempting my ablation 3 times as I progressively got worse and in heart failure or they were good but not good enough. Natale fixed in one shot what they could not in 2.5 years and 3 ablations as the next step was to recommend open heart surgery. Now I turned out to be a bit more compby Fibrillator - AFIBBERS FORUM
You're not simple. We've all been there, you need to see Natale. Sorry to be so blunt. I've been down the "oh it must have reconnected" and wasted 2.5 years of my life and 3 abaltions before Natale fixed. Get the 1st appointment your insurance will allow.by Fibrillator - AFIBBERS FORUM
The problem with all these arguments is no 2 cases are the same. My flutter/fib was definitly coming from outside PVI, it took 3 failed ablations with another "top guy" to go to Natale and get my life back on the 4th try. I was in congestive heart failure at age 40, and getting ready to file for disability and spend my life doped up on beta blockers on the couch. So while I likby Fibrillator - AFIBBERS FORUM

Alcohol and I use it rarely causes my heart rate to increase significantly, though no afib. Sugar and coffee have no affect at all other than enjoyment. But I mostly drink decaf but not always.by Fibrillator - AFIBBERS FORUM
I am mostly suspect of the Emgality I started this month. I just threw another short one of something, that is twice in one week and I have been basically silent accept for single PVC's here and there for 1.5 years now. Was tachardyia just sitting on couch, by time I could get to Kardia it was just Tachardia. But we all know when we have a string of "something". I notice alby Fibrillator - AFIBBERS FORUM
I had a lot of flutter and was in flutter when I went on the table with Natale. Mine was usually around 150-160BPM and Metoprolol did nothing to slow it down.by Fibrillator - AFIBBERS FORUM
Agreed, not arguing. To my knowledge there are 4 genes currently associated with afib identified at moment, I am sure Shannon will correct me. My recent test showed I carried 3 of them. The word disease is hard to define sometimes, however call it an "issue" if you want with rogue cells developing and firing in a manner they should not. Sometimes it would be best for us to admit we have a heart tissue disease. Call it a disease rather than looking for every cause. Despite all my reading there is never anyone I can find who cured their afib with diet. Sure you can make yourself feel better by being healthy as we are heart patients. But we have an underlying disease likely caused by genetic issues for a lot of us. There areby Fibrillator - AFIBBERS FORUM
I am coming up 2 years post my Natale abaltion. I never really lost the PVC's though they slowed to infrequent or at least to the point I don't feel most of them, heavy ones still feel like a small electric shock so I am keenly aware. Just yesterday I threw 10 to 15 second of chaotic beats but don't know what it was, could have been PVC's, PAC's flutter or brief fib butby Fibrillator - AFIBBERS FORUM
Coming up on 2 years post my 1st Natale abalation (4th overall). Knock on wood been great. Early on in blanking period I would string together what I would call a chaotic beat pattern for 10 secondis or so once of twice. QuoteCarey Rate control drugs barely put a dent in my standard 150 BPM afb routine. That sounds like flutter. 150 is a really common flutter rate and flutter is often resistant to rate control drugs. Rate control drugs barely put a dent in my standard 150 BPM afb routine. I was dizzy, out of breath and ultimately had ejection fraction ('EF') of 25% and heart failure diagnosis, by the way at 40 yrs. old. I and many others have no PFO at least not after it heals after ablation procedure. Yet Auras and headaches remain. Given we know some of us have a genetic predisposition for AFIB and it would not surprise me that we are genetically prone to Migraines as well. This is so right on time and strange. I am about 18 months post succesful ablation from Natale and have been doing great, PAC's and PVC's not all gone but pretty much so.
