So the PVCs were on and off for just a few hours. It was the same day that I was inhaling the essential oils through the nebulizer. So, I'm thinking that was a no-no. Everything is better since then. Sinus rhythm. Almost over COVID. Thanks y'all!by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks! I appreciate the info and you sharing your experience. Wishing you the best health!by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
I didn't know that. Thanks for letting me know.by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
I had a Natale ablation a few years back and so far I've been pretty much afib-free. Except when I get overly stressed I sometimes get some PVCs. Well, I caught COVID the other day for the first time. I'm supplementing with Vit D3+K2, C, zinc, quercetin, NAC mostly. Also, I started doing a nebulizer with a few drops of eucalyptus. I noticed this afternoon and this evening I'by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks Susan and George! QuoteGeorgeN His resting heart rate was in the 50's today. But he told me sometimes his Apple Watch wakes him up or alerts him that his heart rate is in the 30's to 40's. My resting heart rate is in the 50's. I'm 66. My sleeping heart rate commonly drops to 41. If he's asymptomatic, that's OK. What you really want is a mediby cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks CaliGuy. Yes, he has an ECG. He said he notices the HR in the 30s sometimes when he checks his apple watch in the morning. But he's not complaining of symptoms. I just haven't heard of people having HRs in the 30's/40's before. (Not consistently though.)by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
QuoteAsympPACs In my case, my sleeping heart rate goes down significanty lower (42-46) when my room is 60-65 degrees as compared to 68-70 (50-55) degrees. What temperature is his room while sleeping? Great question. He's only taking eliquis and an occassional flecainide (rarely). No bp meds or beta blockers, etc. He mentioned his cardiologist thinks his heart is very scarred from the ablation and that this might be the cause. His avg HR has gone down at least 10 bpm since his ablation. It's been almost a year. I'm just worried about the 30's and 40's! I will haby cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
My dad is 73 yrs old. About a year ago he had an extensive Natale RF ablation after having almost constant afib for a year or two. After that he's noted low heart rates, post ablation, especially during the past few months. His resting heart rate was in the 50's today. But he told me sometimes his Apple Watch wakes him up or alerts him that his heart rate is in the 30's to 40'by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
This is the lesson I've learned (through my dad's experience): If men have enlarged prostates, enlarged bladders or other major urinary issues, I would recommend getting these resolved, if possible, before the ablation. That would've made the ablation process much better.by cirenepurzalot - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Ok thanks Carey.by cirenepurzalot - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Please help! Any advice would be appreciated.... My dad has had an enlarged prostate and enlarged bladder for years. Unfortunately, this was not addressed and he went and got a cardiac ablation last Wednesday (out of state, with Dr Natale.) He was supposed to only stay in the hospital for one night. But, because he had blood (and clots) in his urine he had to stay longer. He's still thereby cirenepurzalot - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Thanks. It's a bit better now. I think you must be right. Thanks as always Carey. By the way, Dr Natale did awesome with the ablation, as expected. He's really the best! And his personal staff is 5-star! Also, thanks to Shannon for your commitment and service you provide to this community.by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
Is it normal to get a 101 fever a few days after an ablation. My dad just got an extensive one (first one) from Dr Natale last Wednesday. Tonight he developed a fever. (He's still in the hospital due to bladder/prostate/urinary complications.) I just hope it's not COVID.by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
How are you doing since your Dr Peykar ablation? Did you have persistent afib for a while before then?by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
I've been researching excellent EPs in Florida for my dad. (Dr Sergio Pinski is one that was recommended and is on the top of my research list. Thanks George!) Has anyone had any experiences with Dr. Sidney Peykar in Florida? On this site, , it says... Great thanks George! You're always so helpful. I appreciate the info!!!!by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
George, When you say he's a "Natale protege'" can you tell me more about this? Does this mean that he trained directly under Dr Natale in Austin at TCAI? Or that he just uses some of his methods/techniques? Also, can I ask if your cousin was long-standing, persistent? Or paroxysmal? I would love to find a thorough, meticulous EP who, like Natale, even searches for dby cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks for the clarification George! I will definitely look him up more. I would love for him to see Natale but just scared for him to travel during this pandemic.by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks. I've never heard of a "durable ablation" but I'll do some research. So, he's an MD, not an EP? I really appreciate your info! Thanks!by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
My dad has had long-standing, persistent afib for about 16 months. He is 70 years old and doesn't want to take any rhythm drugs, etc. He is a Veteran and so can use "Community Care" to see pretty much any EP he wants through the VA. Question: Do any of you know any GREAT EPs in the Florida area that you can recommend? I know nobody is as awesome as Natale but he doesn't wanby cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM

Thanks Carey. It's not pegged. In the evening it drops to the mid 80's until I start work the next day again. Hopefully that's sustainable.... or my job goes!by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks Carey, as always. I appreciate the info, I didn't know that. Yes, my average bpm is a bit too high now, due to stress I believe. (About 100 on average I think.) Also my VO2 max is very low. So, I'm making it a point to get more exercise and cardio activity. Hopefully everything will improve if I do that.by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
I had an Natale ablation back in March and that got rid of my afib! I'm so happy about that. But, I did notice that my resting pulse rate has been a bit high since then. (Recently, maybe due to work-related stress. About 108bpm for most of the day.) I am starting to lose weight and am trying to jog/walk more so I'm hoping this will help. Question: Can stress or a high resting pulsby cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM

I had my ablation almost 5 months ago. It's been great. No afib! Recently I've been under stress and have had some ectopic beats. (My Kardia ECG still said "normal" though.) Are ectopic beats (esp when under stress) normal? Anything to be concerned about?by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
