Since the ablation. Thanks Carey!by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
I think your assessment is good. Wishing you the best! I hope you feel a bit better. Enjoy your hobbies!by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
It's been a little over 2 weeks since I had my ablation. When I take very deep breaths, at the end of the breath there is still some slight discomfort in the chest area. I'm not sure if I would use the word "pain", but maybe some ache. Is this normal? I can't tell if it's my esophagus, or chest/diaphragm area, or what. And, again, it's usually only at the end ofby cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM

Thanks everyone, especially Shannon and Carey, for your support! This forum is priceless!by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
They put me on diltiazem and flecanide for 1 week. I took my 2nd dose this evening at 9pm. Around 10pm the issue stopped, after 2 full days. I'm sure this is just blanking period stuff. Thanks fellow afibbers for your encouragement!by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
Yeah kind of stinks. I’ve had it for almost 1.5 days now. I hope this doesn’t mess up anything.by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks. Mine has been going non-stop for 23 hours. But, I'm not overly symptomatic (mostly). At times I even think it's gone. The problem is, the RN said to try diltiazem, but my bp has been rather low, like 94/77. (I did take the pill about 8 hours ago.) So I'm not sure what advice they'll give me next.by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks Carey, as usual! I don't think I've ever had atrial flutter before, especially like this. But I appreciate your reassurance. My rhythm is fairly steady, no afib, just "unclassified" or tachycardia on the EKGs I'm taking. And, I think I'm more afraid of the cardioversion than the ablation. hahaby cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
I had my Natale ablation a week ago. Pretty much no afib since then. Feeling great overall. Then I got home and had 2 days of constant work stress. Last night around 11:30pm my heart all of a sudden jumped to around 140bpm. On my Kardia, on several readings, it went between "unclassified" and "tachycardia" each time I took it. It's been 21 hours and my heart is STILL averby cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM

Is your thought because your heart is working regularly, more efficiently? Is that what you mean by "it would be to amp it up"? QuoteCarey I'm supposed to have my Natale ablation next week. Hopefully I wont be more susceptible to it after my procedure. Do you know if my immune system will be lower due to the procedure and how long (avg person) it will be lower (if it is)? No.by cirenepurzalot - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Does anyone know the Fluoroscopy times for a typical Natale Ablation? Is the radiation exposure minimal? And are there adverse side effects from the radiation used? Thanks!by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM

Does anyone have any tips that will help one recover from ablations and have an easier blanking period? (ie Supplements, regiments, etc....) Even starting immediately after the ablation and for the next few months? Thanks in advance for your wisdom and insight!by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
You got your ablation done already?! If so, congratulations. Can you PM me your experience, unless you want to post it here?by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
I'm going next week for my first, so I definitely understand what you are feeling. I'm in my 40's so relatively young too. For me ablation was a last resort but I didn't want to be battling with meds back and forth and I definitely am very symptomatic. So, a Natale ablation is what I settled on. For those that have had the ablation it's very "one sided" as to thby cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
Wow that's really encouraging! Especially since I'm going next week! Quotehwkmn05 I was in Austin this weekend touring the ranches and speaking with Vets and Ag experts. Off topic I asked about Natale and his success. They all mentioned over 20 patients they had known of Natale and added that only one had need of a second visit which was most likely one of those complicated cases, but sby cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
Wow Shannon. That was so interesting! Is the amount of radiation the patient gets during a typical ablation significant?by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
So true! Thanks! QuotePompon Thanks for your reassurances! I haven't had afib in about 4 days, which is good for me. So I think my body is like "dont do it!!!" But, I have to remember how symptomatic I am when I get it. And my sessions have increased to 1 to 3 days on average now. I just want to be afib free and med free! I'm only in my 40's. This is the amazing thiby cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM

My dad is a veteran. Do you know any experienced EP's in Florida (or in the US worse case) that have alot of (successful) experience with ablations? I appreciate your advice! Thanks!by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
