Are you sure this is legit? Or are they phishing for information? My dad felt the later.by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
Congrats Gary! I'm going in for my FIRST ablation in about 2 weeks. I hope I dont get pericarditis. Sorry you had to deal with that. But, I'm glad you're doing well. Same goes for Betty and everyone else!by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
Great suggestions, as usual, Carey! I truly appreciate it.by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
Haha Carey, thanks! Dumb question of the year????by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
Yes, we've made tentative plans. It involves flying. But, we'll see where the virus impact is as we get closer. If it's not a good idea to fly we'll drive. I hope to get there on a Monday, then our consult is on Tuesday and the procedure on Wednesday. I have been to Austin in the past (once) and love the city. Hopefully I'll feel good enough to sightsee a bit whileby cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
Does anyone know what the collagen plugs are made out of? (The ones Dr Natale uses.)by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
In a few weeks I'll be getting my first RF ablation with Dr Natale. Hopefully the coronavirus won't impede my travel plans at all! If you have any last minute tips for pre or post procedure let me know. I'm a little terrified, but less because it's Dr Natale! Thanks to all of you for helping me build the courage to go see him.by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM

Just wondering.... For those that have had an ablation, were there any symptoms that got worse, or new symptoms, after your ablation? Or is that uncommon? A general curiosity.by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks everyone for answering my questions.by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks a lot! I appreciate your response. Does having a PV ablation increase the risk of needing a LAA isolation?by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
Did you always have no p wave or is this a result of the ablation? I’m thinking about getting my first pv isolation. Will I risk having to get an LAA isolation? Not sure how that works. Thanks.by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
I have to say, I am impressed with the level of knowledge in these forums. Many of you seem to know more than my cardiologist!by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks for sharing! I value all of your opinions. I find Dr Gupta to be pretty interesting. He almost always quotes actual studies.by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks everyone for your opinions! I appreciate it. The various studies he mentioned is nonetheless very interesting. Especially the one having to do with "younger" people having afib and the stroke risks. These sounded like pretty large and significant studies. But, should still be considered in full context.by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks. I wonder why afib isn’t included in the calculation of the chadsvasc score? Seems like it should be a factor due to the LAA.by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
If you're interested please watch this video through. York Cardiology - Why I Don't Believe that AFib Causes Stroke For those that have watched it, I'm curious what your thoughts are. Dr Gupta seems to make alot of sense. The studies he references are interesting too! In a nutshell he is saying.... I know the standard dosing for eliquis is 5mg twice per day. Does anyone know if taking half of the dose, 2.5mg twice per day, is effective still? Or is only the full dosing what is promoted? Sorry for the questions. I'm new to all this. I appreciate you all!by cirenepurzalot - AFIBBERS FORUM
