Before my initial ablation in 2003, and early-on in my Afib journey, I learned that one potential ‘trigger’ for me was becoming hypoglycemic… either because I had gone too long between meals…or because the last meal included dessert and, with time, there was the ‘lag’ in glucose content that often set off an AF event. That motivated me to severely limit sugars and it definitely helped … until iby Jackie - AFIBBERS FORUM

Thanks, Dean - This is well done. Welcome, Cottagerose - So sorry you're struggling and very glad you found the Afibber's group. There's a wealth of info, advice and personal experience history/testimonials. Just don't let it overwhelm you... because it's easy to do that. A very important consideration is determining if you are low in intracellular magnesium. Hi Sam - Just as a reminder to whatever you do to take in more fiber .... you need to drink lots of water throughout the day, especially if the fiber form is a dry component. It takes extra water to 'plump up' the dry fiber so it can function as intended. Otherwise, you'll experience the 'harder stools' that Carey mentions. If that happens, hydrate well and often...by Jackie - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
My heartfelt condolences to Judi Larsen and family. Hans Larsen was a very special person and he will live on in my heart along with the fond memories of all the caring support and valuable information he and Judi provided via Afibbers.org. Hi Dean - thanks for sharing. Interesting and undoubtedly, useful, for post-ablation use as well. I know that I certainly limit calcium-containing foods so that I'm not 'overloading'.... and based on my Vitamin D-deficient history, Vitamin D is a supplement I've optimized for over 20 years.
