Carey has always said that he has had a watchman but he is still on a blood thinner. I don't know about others on this board that have had a watchman if they are also on a blood thinner, it is said to take aspirin if you have a watchman.

Susan D. a regular poster on this site has written that you can get Xarelto a lot cheaper at the Israel Pharm.com , I did and also got 50.00 off on my order. i paid $157.00 for 84 tabs. i will keep going through that pharmacy for my Xarelto, drugs are way too expensive in this country, they are going nuts.

I understand that there are more that have had success than failures but the point is there have been failures. Perhaps Susan has a pacer that is set at a level, mine is set at 50, my heart rate won't drop below 50, so she won't have that problem.

I have checked the Advantage plans in Michigan and they will not pay for any surgery outside of my state, the only way they would pay is if it was an emergency, Also, their prescription cost for Xarelto isn't any better than what I now have.

is it possible that tricuspid regurgitation can be caused by permanent AF? I have severe TR now, it used to be mild to moderate, i am in permanent AF for about the last 2 years and my TR has become severe. Tomatoes are the key ingredient in V8 juice, i grow lots of tomatoes and make juice and sauce out of them, so seems like a person could buy tomato juice for their potassium level, also sweet potatoes and regular potatoes have potassium.

I checked the site www.mayoclinc.org and put the drug Xarelto in and they said that you can take aspirin with the drug. Yet everybody says not to do that. My EP told me not to take aspirin but if needed to take Tylenol. So who is right.

Smackman; Silverscript (Aetna) has a plan called Smart RX, 6.90/ins., 46.month for Xeralto, donut hole is 445.00 adds up to around 1079/year. Not real good but it is a little cheaper than what I am paying now. If Carey can show up something better that would be great.

Carey: Is that 40.00 monthly for 12 months, does your plan reach a period called the donut hole and then your price for your drug increase for about 3 months. I am checking plans now so that my price remains the same for the whole year. These supplemental plans usually don't want to talk when they know a person has AF, that may not apply to you as you are no longer in AF.

I do have a severe Tricuspid regurgitation, the rest of the valves are mild/ok. I know that a pacer will kick in if your heart rate goes lower than what the pacer is set at. Mine is set at 50 BPM at the low end and if my heart rate goes lower the pacer kicks in, mine isn't set for the high end as I never had any problems that way. i was talking about when getting an episode of AF the pacer doesn't stop it, they tried to do that but it hasn't worked at least
