Quotesusan.d I see him Monday, I’ll ask. I recalled from his advice in 2006 the answer was similar to the second link regarding insulin resistance. I lost the weight using an app in which I calculated my diet for the day based on carbs proteins and veggies (I’m dairy free) . I calculated my daily diet in advance (easier) and I didn’t stray. Being anal helped keeping my control of what I ate. I brby Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM
QuotePavanPharter Right now state of the art is burning the inside of the heart. If some other possibility comes up as effective, I am all for it. Couldn't agree more. We are in the middle ages as far as AF goes. Why for the last 8 years after about or almost 4 months of permanent AF i'm paroxysmal now and with weeks and sometimes months in NSR (at least while i'm awake) Ifby Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM
I have been told (first hand) by two owners who’s dogs had similar cancers an short times to live. The owners mixed graviola into their food and after a few months ( forgot details) the dogs’ cancers disappeared. Don’t remember quantities involved but one owner told me that her dog vomited after eating the mix. Next feed she reduced the amount of graviola an this solved the vomiting problem.by Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
No reason to doubt their findings . Nevertheless epigenetics comes into the equation as well? We also ‘inherit’ certain dietary and lifestyle trends.by Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM
Suspect there are many reasons for having a disease including toxicity, deficiencies, biochemical/nutritional imbalances, genetics, lifestyle (lack of exercise/sunlight/clean fresh air /stress) - anything else or just one or two of the above. I'd like to know what actually makes our ionic channels in the heart cells malfunction/pumping minerals in and out of cells????by Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM
He gives a general talk on AF - could interest someone newly diagnosed? Interesting, he said, that his presentation from 2015 is out of date. This is the updated version.by Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM
QuoteAs aside Dr. N is still not supporting the bivalent booster. Do you know why he doesn't support it? I'd be interested to hear. Sorry you have Covid--take care of yourself! He probably has good reasons. Perhaps he even listened to Paul Offit (a member of the FDA advisory committee and co-developer of the Rotor virus vaccine among other top qualifications)by Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM
In my case, i tested positive for Covid for 10 consecutive days recently. I decided not to take Paxlovid because of my paroxysmal AF and taking Flec & Eliquis as pip. First night and following day of symptom onset was very uncomfortable. Second and third days not so much. After that i just felt NQR but otherwise ok. My symptoms were, cough and 'soreness in bones' like flu, lackingby Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM
Interesting heads up Susan . Question is - should we be more wary of pharma drugs or herbs that have been used for centuriesby Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hawthorn berries and leaves tea i drank for 6 months to a year or a bit longer (began end of 2015) after ~3/4 month of permanent AF and a huge nocebo from the cardiologist. It was actually the second CV that got me out of permanent. Have been paroxysmal since - sometimes in NSR for months. These days i take Flec pip when i go into AF. Perhaps i should go back to drinking that teaby Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM

Sorry, bit late - Covid positive for the last 6 days and fairly sick with it (ok now). Thank you everybody for the advise on Osteopenia! I have been adding a little Borax (and colloidal silica, selenium, lithium, K and Na,) to my distilled (to take the fluoride out because of my elevated TSA) drinking water for over a year. Interesting Susan! Racehorses might solve AF burden Thank you for the link Dean! Now, how can we increase our calcitonin output? Looks like they are onto something. In my case it is Zone 2 as George says. Doing 5 minutes, level 8 on a semi reclining bike @60 RPM drops my blood glucose by 20/25 units. Walking does as well but I'd have to walk for about 30 minutesby Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM
QuoteJohnBM Hi Carey No the metoprolol is from previous script. I wouldn't take the two. I did tell the cardio that i respond well to it, but he wrote bisoprolol anyway. I read a few papers on the intermittent use of noacs, and discussed with him about it. After some thought he said he would read one, which i sent him. He doesn't have a protocol to recommend such use, which i accept.by Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM

A big BG spike set up an AF episode for me yesterday, that's for certain I should know better. The flesh is weak... Appreciate your replies! When i Listened to Dr Greger i was thinking of George's experience. LoisA you are confirming the genetic underlying cause. Wondering what can we do epigenetically to prevent/minimize our AF burden? Dr Greger's presentation does confirm along the lines of oxidative stress and diet. The high carb diet is interesting but i suppose applies only if one is not pre-diabetic according to Dr Bernstein's and/or Dr Ford Brewer's definition - that is havingby Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM

Had a few AF episodes lasting for 8 to 12 hours in the last few months, but got into NSR with 100 to 150 mg Flec. My AF is not getting better that's why i look at everything i come across. The majority of time we are in NSR so some imbalance must be the trigger. Why is it so difficult for all these smart medicos and researchers to work that out (maybe they aren't that smart?). Might as well mention it - 3 days ago I had a 6 months routine Cardiologist appointment. I asked him about Strophanthin and he said that he had no idea about it.
