Do Taurine levels decrease with age because we eat less or more likely we absorb less? If we absorb less, then why and what/how do we increase absorption? Meantime i'll go out and buy someby Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
My N1 for what it's worth: From June 2015 i was in permanent AF for almost 4 months. Was told that my L atria was quite enlarged. After a few months (6? iirc) I was told that it reduced in size. Last year i had another Echo and was told that my L atria is almost normal size (hope the are right )by Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM

We may have struck gold here So far i haven't found anybody in Melbourne who does this test. Used as a quick indicator and then follow up tests to facilitate the appropriate interventions to optimize one's metabolism (Steve Carr's experience at back of mind). Once we achieve that than perhaps it would be helpful to reduce AF as well Anybody on here familiar with this test?by Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM

This might be controversial. I have not checked sources etc but it seems true - unfortunately. Carey censor/delete if you see it as a problem post. Go to about 6:45 re atrial fibrillation having caused that young girl's death.by Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Thank you George! Looked up the first link and followed some others in those. Seems to me that dose is critical, as is with many medications (mine looks like bordering on the high end - will tone it down). The scare scenarios involved quite high concentrations. Downloaded "Rapid Virus Recovery" and will read it later. Used my solution last night again and my cough and phlegm (mineby Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM
George, any info on why it is advised against? Lung damage? If so, I don't feel it and it definitely cut down massively on my cough and bringing up 'slugs'. Yesterday i didn't do it and today the cough and 'slugs' came back a little. BTW, the hot saunas nor the vaporizing have ever put me into AF.by Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM
Had (still have but almost gone) a lung infection with heavy coughing and green slugs. Did sauna 1x day for several days @75 to 80 deg C for 20 minutes. It helped. One day i had a hot bath with Mg that took my temp up to 39.8 deg C - also helped. I think what really helped to almost completely stop coughing was: 3ml distilled water with .5ml 12% pharma grade hydrogen peroxide in a nebulizer 1 x/by Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM
Excellent link PP, thank you! It echoes what Dr Peter Attia said in his blog/letter but with a bit more detail and some other thoughts.by Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM

Quotesusan.d Eliquis doesn’t affect me. It maybe the first drug. Lisinopril gave me the coughing side effect, BB gave me ezcema. Crestor gave me muscle cramps, multaq horrible GERD, flecainide gave me insomnia... but Eliquis no problems but some bruises. It’s better to be protected than risk a stroke. Good to know Susan! George or anybody else - any experience with this device? Seems more comfortable than the Polar H10 but is it equally useful for showing irregularities - meaning is it clear and detailed to see a P wave? Cheersby Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM
Interesting Susan! Goes to show that all levels should be optimal. In my case of initial afib my level was 297 ug/L Ferritin (range 30 - 320) which i thought was a bit high. Cardiologist said that it's ok. In 2020 at last check it was 160 - still have the occasional afib episode. Don't these levels increase when inflammation is happening?by Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM
Would a steady blood glucose level, say no post prandial spike of 100 to 120, be also protective . Insulin levels and spikes would also be a factor - probably an important one 🤷♂️by Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM
Interesting and great find Thanks for posting! Now, i've got to get my head around all of that - hopefully our better versed posters help outby Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM
Indeed Carey. I am quite keen to take vaccines that offer mucosal Immunity (some call it sterilising/totally minimising spreading it) with very high benefit vs risk ; not so much a ‘non sterilising’ one I was coerced to take in 2020/21 in Australia and doubtful risk/benefit for immune healthy cohorts. Each to their own.by Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM
Goes to show how differently we are affected by a virus. I was positive for 10 days (only they first 3 days were unpleasant) but had no AF as far as i could see and feel. BTW, i had 2 AZ and my wife had 2AZ and 2 mRNA - i caught covid from her which she contracted weeks after the 4th. Her duration was only 5 days but she took Paxlovid; i took nothing except hot Saunas (70 to 80 deg C and someby Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM
Bunch of fibs indeed. Get the vaccine, it is safe and effective, prevents you from getting it and prevents you from spreading to others Of course it is a real and active virus, had it only a few weeks ago.by Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM
Quotegloaming One of the reasons that getting ablated as soon as practicable after being diagnosed is the best policy. Atrial enlargement is not a good thing, although I think I read that it can reverse itself to an extent if it isn't forced to keep beating just when the ventricle beats. My atria was quite enlarged after about 4 months in permanent AF in 2015. After the second cardio veby Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM
This got my interest since i take it as PIP. Would appreciate a comment from Carey and others in the know what your thought are. No doubt there is lots of new info re Flec? The comments are from an UK Cardiologist. Please look @ from about 41:10by Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM
It is, apparently (it is claimed by some that the medicos call fringe) that the strength of the muscle weakens when we ingest something that is better not taken. Of course, no scientific proof as far as i know; and yes, it can be influenced by one's mind i.e. block the effect. I've done it when it was tried out on me but then again that's not how it is meant to be applied. In theby Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM
QuoteMartyM Hi Folks, Just an update that the Afib is back after a few days However Aspirin amplifies the symptoms of my Afib.... You could try challenging a strong muscle e.g. the deltoid prior to taking the Aspirin. If strong, then put the Aspirin under your tongue and challange again. If it stays strong (same as initially) the Aspirin is probably not the problem. On the other hand, ifby Joe - AFIBBERS FORUM
