I was watching a Youtube video about the coming Mini Ice Age. About 3:20 min. into the video it mentions cardiac arrythmias . That really got my attention, and i started searching that term. Ron, I am a long time runner (no marathons) that was ablated by Dr Natale 2.5 years ago. No afib since the ablation. I did not run for 3 months after my ablation and then started to increase my running to pre ablation levels. I had a recent consult with Dr Natale and he said there were no limitations on my exercising. Your loss of a son is heartbreaking. My condolences and sympathy to youby afibbers - AFIBBERS FORUM
Dear Afibbers , It is a long time since I have posted on our forum but I am now 71 and generally in good health apart from my Perm A/fib which makes me so angry . I am finding that my wife says that I am very disagreeable about most things and I just throw my hands up in the air and walk away in a rage . I have had all blood tests and they a are fine , my B/P is good and myby afibbers - AFIBBERS FORUM

Hello Alex, Apparently (even though you are asymptomatic now), your doc put you on a potent blood thinner because you are at significant risk of stroke or heart attack. Since Eliquis is comparable to warfarin in effectiveness, and since users of warfarin are advised to avoid taking supplements such as cardiokinase (a brand of nattokinase) and any other natural blood thinners, I suggest that yoby afibbers - AFIBBERS FORUM

Thanks for the further responses. I recall having IC testing a few years ago (Exotest?) and IIRC my Mg was below bottom of range (33 or so) and Ca about double top of range..... AF is familial on my mother's side for me and I guess that that predisposition muct be IC mg/Ca-related. Tough to change one's genes! OK so genes need to express but sometimes I'm guessing extremely hardby afibbers - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks George and Jackie. Should emphasise that 3 of my last 4 episodes were firmly in my opinion down to MSG. I should have specifically stressed that the ONLY 2 times I've had Chinese T/A this last 3 years I've had early am AF BOTH times afterwards. Not as though I have eaten Chinese T/A every week this last 3 years and had AF twice afterwards. So hardly a coincidence. And now backby afibbers - AFIBBERS FORUM

Not a regular visitor but this site was an important resource. I composed the follow off line so I hope it still reads OK: I'm 66 years old, married, self-employed. With Junctional heartbeats which my doctor says is a benign condition, what is the general thinking on blood thinners? My doctor tells me I have no afib, but still he has me on eliiquis. I am borderline on the chad score, a two I believe, with treated high blood pressure. So if there is no afib, what is the thinking on taking the blood thinner? I am considering taking my self off. I had a successful ablation 8 years ago. Recently I started having quite a bit of pac/pvc activity. I thought I might be having some breakthrough afib. My EKGs this afternoon show no afib, but some definite junctional beats which I sometimes feel. I was assured that this is a benign condition, but my doctor has me on Elliquis as a precaution. I too have a heavy burden of ectopics after 8 years of a successful ablation by Marcus Wharton 8 years ago. Now for the past 2 months ectopics every day. To Dean, thanks for sharing your story, and I'm glad you were able to just stop PPIs cold turkey, then found ACV. But if you go back to my second post above, you'd see that just isn't going to work for me, as I am doubled over in pain after missing just one PPI dose. Will explore the copious links others here have offered to get off the PPIs. On another, related note: happy tby afibbers - AFIBBERS FORUM
Ok, Moerk, thanks for the info. So with this, I suppose I can assume that combining PPIs with beta-blockers is a double dose of Afib makers. Is it really a case of Dr.s not being able or interested in reading this evidence like we do?by afibbers - AFIBBERS FORUM
I have no idea about Candida, but I have some of the symptoms. I do take the Source Naturals Essential Enzymes, as well as sublingual B-12, and recently have started oregano oil, in case I do have bad bacteria. I am grateful to you, Jackie, for a quick response and a lot of info to share. Just to clarify: I was, fairly recently, given an upper endoscopy, with tissue taken to test for H. pylori, which was negative. Obviously, the practice is ingrained that GI's give PPIs for esoph. erosion, and it worked well. Sadly, I am "hooked", as recently I forgot to take it and within 8 hours of mby afibbers - AFIBBERS FORUM
My first-ever post anywhere. I am a 48yo male, diagnosed 5 years with GERD, at first with esoph. erosion (non-Barrett's); 3 months of Nexium, then 4 years on Prilosec. I also take beta-blocker for BP, co-q10, extra D, fish oil, sometimes mag. citrate at night, and occasional dig. enzyme capsules. Managed the GERD ok, not great (some days are an indescribable war with gas, bloat, fog). Siby afibbers - AFIBBERS FORUM

In 2005 had my first Afib episode. My doc prescribed amiodarone. The people on this forum advised me about it's side affects. I then told my doc that I would not take it anymore. He then prescribed digoxen. Hans posted back that was the worst thing he could have done. So I told my doc that I would not take that either.
