On a cruise ship going from Argentina to the Antarctica a COVID infection broke out. The crew got N95s and the other passengers were also given masks. About 80% were asymptomatic whereas without masks only about 40% would be expected to remain asymptomatic.by Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
From here (Australia) it looks like the Virus is used for political point scoring? Our problem is more related to official medical experts failing to tell how to ameliorate if one does contract the virus. Meaning eveng simply making certain that vitamin D3 levels are on the high side. Suspect it is due to professional arrogance because there is no double blind placebo controlled trail to aby Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Liz, we know testing is not 100 % specific nor 100% sensitive but we know that spreading the virus is exponential and from even non symptomatic people in enclosed spaces at close personal distances and poor ventilation not forgetting length of exposure. Comes down to personal risk tolerance? Dr Greger and Rich Roll discuss masks at about 1:15 clearing up some of the misinformation?by Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Being traced is the least of a problem if you are in the risk group (non optimal immune system, age etc) For the ones thinking that anti-coagulation is a type of insurance, perhaps think again in light of what this study (later in the video) saysby Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM

Hmmm, listened to that talk. Don't know what to think, too much conflicting info from all sides. My take is, eat to keep your blood sugar from spiking and as close to 82 as practical (Dr Bernstein) as long as inflammation markers are kept very low, no calcification of arteries, very good assimilation and elimination (microbiom) then we can expect minimal health problems???? My first ECV lasted only 1 hour. This was after about 3 months of permanent afib. The cardiologist advised against a 2nd ECV because he thought it would not work. The second one was after waiting for another 4/5 weeks. I insisted and it did work, that was at the end of 2015 (age 65). I had only a few episodes since. The reality is that it brings sooo much sadness to families. The other reality is that the worst affected are people with co-morbidity/metabolic syndrome. QuoteNotLyingAboutMyAfib I'm giving it a try. The worst that could happen is I lose some pericardial fat (a contributor to AF), have some autophagy creates some new healthy cells, and I lose some visceral and sub q fat. Just listened to Prof Streeck being interviewed on German TV. His team studied/tested about 600 households and over 1000 people (in those households). They found (wasn't clear if it was in this particular study) that one in five people infected have no symptoms and don't get sick. Question is, why is this the case? edit: It looks like it was fewer than households and peopleby Joe - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
