Yes Natale came to personally ablate me at St Luke's at the request of Shannon I was one of his first ablatees here at St Luke's and with my heavy Queens NY accent and his Italian accent it was some dialogue I recorded! Dennis and Barb who I've had the pleasure of meeting also followed my lead as did others. Yes he set up shop here in May of last year 2013 as the executive direby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
Exactly one year ago today at this time I was anxiously waiting to meet with Dr Natale for the first time with an ablation tentatively scheduled the next day. I had a 45 min consultation with him at St Luke's here in NYC where I threw every question and scenario imaginable at him. He patiently, politely and thoroughly answered every question even when I challenged him about LAA isolation;by McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
Portocall, Let me get this right he wants to cardiovert you and put you on amnio for a month before the procedure? But from my understanding amnio is fat soluble and will stay in your tissues for months before its fully flushed out masking any activity . The protocol for most ablations is stop the AARs about 5-7 days before an ablation so as to not inhibit any hots spots; they then challengeby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
Tana, Clonazepan has been shown in some studies a German one in particular I read in the AFIB report to actually help terminate any episodes. I wouldn't worry about it and if it helps with anxiety and panic attacks all the better. McHaleby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Susan, Wow you were determined to get this FIXED and you got in quick no less! Last time we talked a few weeks ago you were trying to make up your mind who to go to.......... I guess what I said doing less is in nobody's best interest........less is not more so Natale was your man! As for the pain, I was spitting up some blood for about 10 days and had some pain for maybe a 2-3 weeksby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
The charges for my overnight hospital stay after my ablation were denied and deemed unnecessary. The reason given is that most ablations do not require an overnight stay and my blood pressure, breathing and other vitals were all normal. I guess I should have just got off the gurney nauseous as I was, bled out from groin sheath insertion sites and passed out. Now that's what I call cluelessby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
Barb, So sorry to hear you went into flutter, been there myself for 2 weeks in flutter 133bpm after my ablation. Never been cardioverted before either but it's just part of the "experience", just enjoy the propofol ride. Best, McHaleby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
Success is taking that big first step to have an ablation done before you end up with a stroke and more diseased atrial substrate. To finally put a lid on on the beast is a great feeling, after 4 years and a stroke I'm approaching a year in NSR after an ablation Dr Natale. Today makes 11 months since The Maestro ablated me. McHaleby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
I've always been open about it and even described the procedure to many with catheters threaded thru my groin and jugular mapping and burning in my heart. My whole building heard I had a stroke 9 months before my Natale ablation, I couldn't believe how word spread. But being taken out on a stretcher was something you couldn't hide even though it was after 5:00pm.......guess I'by McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
I had a stroke (TIA) 19 months ago while going in and out of AFIB labor day weekend. Couldn't speak for about 10-15 minutes after typing gibberish on my computer screen for who knows how long. Saved that email and should post it one day to remind everyone that playing with natural supplements is no joking matter when it comes to afib and stroke. It was surreal as I was totally lucid put couby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
I had H pylori 3 years ago, treated it with antibiotics/PPI's, got tested to make sure it was eradicated and was told by some on here that was my cure.........2 years later Natale was the answer! McHaleby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
It's seems like everything is linked to AFIB......the list is endless! McHaleby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
I don't get afib anymore, got ablated over 10 months ago. The hell with triggers now!!by McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
To check for silent afib or when I get ectopics or pacs and when I feel my heart jittery and want to make sure my R to R intervals are properly spaced out. McHaleby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hey Shannon, To you I'm grateful, thankful, appreciative as you have been the most instrumental in getting me to Natale's magic hands. Let's hope I sail into that 1 year mark in calm waters. Best Regards, McHaleby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hey Researcher, Yes you are well prepared to deal with afib as you have helped myself and countless others to deal with the beast. I just hit the 10 month mark after Natale's ablation and doing well. This Memorial Day weekend makes 5 years since my diagnosis and will mark the 1 year mark May 28 of the Maestros ablation. Go figure those coincidences..... To think I almost backed out buby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
Researcher sorry to hear you now have developed AFIB. If I recall I asked you in the past that you were just on here researching for a family member ? The week right before Memorial Day weekend at work, this year will make 5 years, I was having maybe a 3rd cup of Joe when I felt something was not right. I put my hand on my chest and felt my heart racing and pounding, was sweating, felt scaredby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM

Hey Chris, I'm glad you're doing well and had a chance to get ablated by Natale. We had a reunion a few months ago when Barb, Dennis C, Andey and myself all went to see Natale speak at the Carlton-Ritz for a seminar sponsored by Montefiore Hospital. They all lined up after me after Natale came to St Lukes in New York for a while to perform his magic. Best, McHaleby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hey Barb, Same here after I workout and use the steam room I also go into a high pulse rate maybe 100-110 for a few minutes or more but it always comes down, no afib from what I can tell feeling my pulse or ECG from LifeWatch monitor. I'm on 25 mg BB my choice too. I'll be at 10 months Friday March 28, can you imagine that.... McHaleby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hey Susan, I'm assuming you're a fellow NYer, Welcome. Are you going to Texas to see Natale? He ablated me almost 10 months ago here in NY at St Luke's but because of politics with Mt Sinai sad to say he is no longer here.....but who knows he told me he will love to still have a presence in NY. Let's see what happens..... Hmmm.... a runner and a spin instructor, can you eby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM

I went out last night and overindulged in bar food and a few beers which for the most part I've avoid now anyway. or do in moderation. But I enjoy life and don't avoid the finer things whether it's a hole in the wall bar with great food or a high end steak house. At almost 10 months after my ablation, no problem steady NSR this morning. Chasing triggers is like chasing rabbits downby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hey Barb, I'm doing well, still on Xarelto as I just passed the 9 month mark. I do get the occasional run of extra beats or pacs but nothing to be concerned about. No I don't need a TEE as I had no work done in my LAA and didn't have much fibrosis. I forgot about your extensive ablation and the scarring from your fibrosis in your LA. Don't worry about it it's just partby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
Barb, I enjoy few beers on the weekends, maybe a port too or even a Scotch. It's different now the desire to have just one more is longer there, maybe subconsciously I'm afraid this will lead to an attack. Natale told me all in moderation. Johnby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Barb, Are you having issues with Xarelto or just want to come off it? Wishing you the Best and Good Luck, McHaleby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
AFIB is not a benign condition even when rate controlled. MI and end stage renal disease are just 2 complications that have only just now been realized. The inflammation from constant AFIB leads to so much more disease as discussed by Dr Reddy. McHaleby McHale - AFIBBERS FORUM
