Yes.....good Q. Susan...it was just the reg. time released.by vanlith - AFIBBERS FORUM
Since you are on blood thinners the dentist with close holes after extraction ect. right away with stitches compared to letting them heal on their own.....since i don't know what your procedure is that's all can tell you as i had a tooth pulled while taking Xarelto in my blanking period....he also put something in the hole before sewing it up to stop any excess bleeding i guess...it wasby vanlith - AFIBBERS FORUM
Susan Flec. i suspect is much stronger than Propafenone as you can take as much as 300mg (2 pills) every 8 hours= 900 mg. in 24 hours I always waited 8 hours before another dosing regiment when trying to stop my afib/flutter and never going over 900mg in 24 hours...before of course my chewing miracle was discovered.by vanlith - AFIBBERS FORUM
My suggestion is unless your EP. discourages you from it....go get your touch up follow up ablation ASAP to fix it hopefully not only for your PH. well being but mental also. I went through hell for around 4 years before i dec. to get my ablation...it was Cryo and the EP. could only ablate around 65% of my PV's because i had 5 PV's with some irregular shapes that the balloon could notby vanlith - AFIBBERS FORUM
There are certain posters on here that will go ape shit on you to even to suggest natto to replace reg. drug blood thinners.....watch out to take incoming....i agree with you btw. It happened to me a few years ago and i took natural blood thinners before and after a few weeks on ELQ. after my ablation. I left the site for 2 years after the know it all's attacked me all day to even suggestby vanlith - AFIBBERS FORUM
If your still on the table during ablation while still in ARR. is what i think you mean....it's a horrible sign if it takes a jolt to convert you instead of the EP. finding that sweet spot to cut the bad electrical current to convert you. It almost cert. means he missed his mark and you will be heading back for a touchup or a more complicated find mission of the trigger spot after the off.by vanlith - AFIBBERS FORUM
QuoteNotLyingAboutMyAfib Shocking you never tried getting off flec. slowly or even cold turkey esp. after the blanking period ended.....what's to worry....the supply of flec. is not going to go away and besides how will you know how suc. the procedure was until you let your heart stand on it's own 2 feet so to speak. This is game changer...if my 2018 ablation fails at some point down the road i will be looking at this possibly. What 10-15% of afib or something like that triggers occurs outside the PV's how would that be addressed....my ablation was strictly PV and it worked beautifully but what about non PVers?by vanlith - AFIBBERS FORUM
Ya i do take ginkgo....might try laying off for a few days to see if my pacs in bed for a few min. stop....worth a try although GB has so many other goods to it i would not elim. it even if it cost me a few pacs but if i had not had a suc. ablation or this was pre ablation that would not be the case.....i would stop cold turkey if it ramped up my afib....everyone has dif. reactions to all this whby vanlith - AFIBBERS FORUM
I had my ablation just over 2 years ago that is holding nicely but was exper. some pacs along the way. They have had slowed down a lot since the ablation but not gone away until i started taking ASHWA....that helped so much pretty much stopping them cold now with the exception of when i lie down on my right side in bed for a few min. or less then they go away....funny before my ablation the rightby vanlith - AFIBBERS FORUM
This was on my bucket list of sups a few years ago to help my AFIB....went through about 4 bottles or 400 pills over many months and saw no change....just my 2 cents worth....tried this big time but like everything else got little to no relief.....only a RF ablation has given me back my life to 100% but not for lack of trying berberine and prob. 5k dollars worth of other heart targeted supl. in aby vanlith - AFIBBERS FORUM
Christ ya...along with stress...not enough sleep....bad foods and more but for instant heart action what your suggesting is #1.....it would be surprising if anyone with this condition does not have a reaction with fright/adr....if one does not their condition is not to serious yet.by vanlith - AFIBBERS FORUM
Between day 3 and day 12 after my ablation i had 6 episodes....thats 6 in 9 days...the worst period i ever had then it stopped except for 1 surprise ep. 1 month later then bliss....nov. 20th 2018 was my day....give it at least min. 6 weeks before starting to draw hard conclusions....everyone is different and every surgery is dif. so try to ride it out best you can being as positive as possible.by vanlith - AFIBBERS FORUM
Your doctor wanting to put you on Amni. the most toxic heavy artillery drug out there for this condition str. away is very unusual.....esp. when your so close to an ablation date. I would laugh in the cardi. office like i did a few years when he wanted to put me on on this scary drug and that was with no ablation sched. yet in my case...no way. The only advice i can give you is my own exp. whileby vanlith - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi not... between day 4 + day 12 i had 6 IRR/afib attacks in 9 days that i KOed each of them in about an hour each by chewing a propafanone pill 3 min. into the episode then went another month in NSR before 1 more episode 6 weeks after my ablation but since then NSR bliss...my heart rate was elevated about 20 beats for about the 1st month after + within about another month it slowly came pretty mby vanlith - AFIBBERS FORUM
I am nearly 2 years in NSR after my nov. 2018 ablation up in canada I am a very young looking 62 year old who has not been on this forum for about 2 years + my eating routine is huge into fasting + i have never felt better. I don't blame you...i did not come here for battles....i did not come here to get my heart rate up...i came here to share my ex. and help people....i could spend hours typing in testimonials of people who have life changing ex. with supl. and dumb comments from doctors and others on certain supl. but its not worth it on this vitriolic at times forum. I never intended this to be a sarcastic insult event ....cool out guys.....i get enough of that on twitter....did not expect it here.......if i go see Natale rest assured i will be clot free on Xarelto. All i am saying is if your afib is very mild there is no need to kill a fly with a sledge hammer...if you disagree fine. Take the time to listen to a youtube vid. When i did my res. on this i saw a lot of these studies are for people with chad scores 2 or higher and all other things related to put them at higher risk of a stroke than most like obesity high BP ect. ect. i would agree that heavy duty blood and clot thinners are nes for them.....hell even myself when i go see Natale in dec.(maybe) i will get off Natto and go on Xarelto for 3 weeks pre and 2-3by vanlith - AFIBBERS FORUM
I tried bisoprolol and it greatly reduced my heart rate but did nothing to stop afib other than make the episodes a little shorter and less violent until i discovered chewing a propafenone 150 mg. at the start of an afib attack converts me in 15-90 min. everytime.....although with a few changes lately like taking 2x250 mg trans-resveratrol a day and a few others i am in perfect NSR now for 15.5 dby vanlith - AFIBBERS FORUM

How long before you get off flec....i am thinking oct. at the latest when your blanking period ends. Glad you are doing well but only when your off these hideous heart drugs esp. taken daily and still in nsr can you or anyone be really happy and say at least for the time being aaahhh success.by vanlith - AFIBBERS FORUM
Ya i think your right it's that heavy dose of met. that did but it should not jump around like you described thats weird......in the past i took bisoprolol a few times and it put my already pretty low fit heart that i have into a tailspin for beats meaning 40-45 which was crazy but unlike you it stayed there for about 12-16 hours then slowly returned. It's only been 11 day's so trby vanlith - AFIBBERS FORUM
QuoteMargaret I would love to know how much and what kind of potassium and magnesium tontake for afib. I had an abliation in March. Dealing now with depression. I live in New Jersey. I have found the best source of potassium for me was simply drinking low sodium v8 juice. You get 850 mg. of potassium in 1 glass and it seems to stop at least temp. some pac's i get. Margaret...........So obv. your ablation in New Jersey did not go well....well join the club of many many of us who would fit that definition. Don't feel bad...these EP's are like QB's...some stink and some are off the charts good.....you have to find a Tom Brady, Drew Brees or Arron Rodgers.....EP equivalent......then you and your heart are laughing. QuotePompon The EP who made my recent touch-up ablation said the chances of success of a new procedure are limited. His chances of success are limited. Yeah. Maybe. And maybe should I take a chance going to Bordeaux. It's somewhat complex for me because here in Belgium we have an official health insurance we're paying for.
