As long as you don't.....FEEL FRICKING FLUTTER.....your laughing. Your burned heart is giving you a burst of this + that because its angry....like a child throwing toys when they are pissed but that will cease soon. Pixie.....without knowing an exact Ep. in either of those....it would be fall down scull cracking surprising if either...esp. the Cleveland Clinic did not have an ABUNDANT let alone 1 EP's who could not handle your case + frankly much harder in every likelihood. Pixie....the Cleveland Clinic would be ideal for you...they are world renowned esp. for heart procedures...they have seen it all and done it all. They talk about iso. the LAA procedure in great detail on their site + they employ an Army of heart specialists EP's ect. i see on their site if your go through it in detail. Both the Cleveland Clinic + Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. are within easy driving distance for you...now i don't know about specific Natale trained Doctors anyway in your area but those 2 are good places to start to look into their EP creds....i am sure there are some Cracker Jack EP's at both places. The experience i have heard is amazing having anything to do with Natale + his Staff...i contacted them from up here in Canada in 2018 + they sent me all the medical forms to fill out + i sent them all my Cardiologists stuff also...it was wonderful...i was accepted + a date was being set up but i ended being ablated up here + it is perfect so far but i feel almost left out.....funny as it soundsby vanlith - AFIBBERS FORUM
Quotesusan.d . I’m still putting burn cream from Monday morning’s ecv. hey susan- and anyone.. which cream are you using? my DERMATOLOGIST is the one that finally put me on to silver silvadene. it is prescription. It sounds to me Jason you are like we are up here in Canada.....at the whim of your doctor....only the most serious cases get the attention up here for the most part with the others just get bandaided. I hope they give you the att. you need but i am fearing you need to get worse before they do what's needed to be done....i hope i am wrong.by vanlith - AFIBBERS FORUM
Pixie.....unless your Cardiologist is really bad or a stubborn drug/bandaid pusher.....you are an A+ candidate to get back on the EP's table for your 3rd Ablation....if you have been reading this forum some/many members have had more Ablations then you have had before it finally clicked...also all EP's are not created equal so maybe go elsewhere next time for your 3rd....i am sure it wiby vanlith - AFIBBERS FORUM
Propafenone worked great for me as a PIP (300mg to covert in 3-5 hours usually or 150mg chewed was the best use for a 1 hour conversion rate) but was an anchor on my body as i took it everyday for around a month...did not feel great + i am extrem. active + it stopped nothing at 150 mg every 8 hours....it gave me no relief from my 5K at least pac's a day or most import. About 10 years ago when i started to follow this AFIB stuff that procedure was still out there quite a bit but i have not even thought about or heard of it for at least 5 years with the new tech. Quotesusan.d Speaking of cardioversions. I've had somewhere between 12 - 20 ECV in last 13 years. Is anyone current on this risk analysis of repeated ECV? Shannon perhaps? or Susan D. QuoteJackie On the melatonin dose at bedtime, once again, the dose and subsequent effects can be highly individualized. When I first experimented, I was taking either 3 or 5 mg at bedtime. I didn't sleep well at all. I did read that for some, only a 'touch' of melatonin was all that was needed so I tried taking half of a 1 mg. tablet at bedtime. Bis. was a drug i was P. early on in my Afib journey....it did nothing to stop my Afib attacks but did dramatically slow down my heart rate (from around 65 to 45) in NSR times which knocked the stuffing out of me like no other drug i ever took + in Afib it marginally shortened the length of time i was in Afib by reducing my HR rate which normally makes it easier for your heart to convert.....theby vanlith - AFIBBERS FORUM
