Up and about. LAA, Coronary Sinus and Posterior wall. I think. Was up and about but still kind of out of it when Dr Natale came in. Will get better clarification tomorrow. He was impressed with my 220 bpm 💓-rate.by rocketritch - AFIBBERS FORUM

Hello Anne, You are going to get quite the array of triggers here for sure. Triggers for me are/were recovery from excercise, msg, caffeine, thinking or talking about it (ie. How's your heart been acting?), eating too fast or too much, alcohol, dehydration, electrolyte inbalance, anger/frustration, stress or worry, and lack of sleep. Those we're all things that I know for suby rocketritch - AFIBBERS FORUM
Had my CTA and consultation with Dr. Natale today. I have never had a CTA before. Very interesting process. And the feeling you get when they inject the contrast dye is IMHO very pleasant. As to Dr. Natale, I was very impressed. Very pleasant and he is so relaxed and very interactive. Very warm personality. Great first impression. The staff I have had interaction with. QuoteAB Page You couldn't be going to a better place for your first trip under general. I've had it 5 times for non-afib related surgeries, and never has the experience been better than at St. David's. It's easy to say don't worry, don't be anxious when you've never experienced it before, but it truly is no big deal. It's like falling asleep and waking up.by rocketritch - AFIBBERS FORUM
Quoteragatx Hey Rocketritch, I've also got an ablation with Natale tomorrow. We'll probably be neighbors. Hope your procedure goes smoothly and your recovery is quick! -Tony I just saw your post and was thinking the same thing. Good luck to you as well. No need to worry. I've had 2 ablations over the years, not with Natale though. I'm a slow learner. Yourby rocketritch - AFIBBERS FORUM
Arrived here in Austin last evening. Went to get a bite to eat and spoke with Shannon. Not long after that I went out of rhythm. Eating had become an issue at one point when I was on the Ticosyn. So I was not shocked when it happened. Stayed out of rhythm most of the night. So much for all the hydrating I did yesterday 😁. Anyway, I'll be catching an UBER here in a little while as myby rocketritch - AFIBBERS FORUM
This thread will cover my ablations with Dr Natale and I will do my best to keep it current along the way. Enjoy. They say that time flies and it surely does. Failed ablation in January, Medications I had been using for years stopped working. Cardioversion in April. Then starting new medications (Ticosyn) shortly after that worked spartically. Now in just a few days I will be having an ablby rocketritch - AFIBBERS FORUM
Been off of the Ticosyn since Friday evening. Still on the metaprolol and elequis. I've had a couple stray heartbeats but still in sinus rhythm. Since I am still taking the metaprolol I will start a short taper on that as I am to not take it beyond Wednesday. I have been out of sorts since stoping the Ticosyn. I slept most of the day yesterday off and on and slept good last night. Still pby rocketritch - AFIBBERS FORUM

QuoteGeorgeN I mentioned to him that I was pursuing and ablation with Dr Natale and he said that if he was willing to take my case that I should by all means see him. He also offered to do anything he could to help move the process along. He also offered to remain my EP locally for any follow up visits or tests I may need. Following my first ablation the doctor didn't put me on anything for the first couple days. I was still in the hospital trying to get my INR numbers dialed in and had an affib eooisode. They then started me on flecanide and metoprolol. I was on this regimen for 6 months. When I stopped they had me taper off of both one at a time. First the flecanide then the metoprolol. So glad you are doing well and maintaining some healthy optimism. Did Dr Natale send you home on antirhythmic drugs? My ablation is scheduled for the 18th of this month. I am so ready to get it done and return to life normal at some point afterwards.by rocketritch - AFIBBERS FORUM
Ditto on the beta blockers. I am also on Ticosyn right now as well. @75mg 2x metoprolol I am able to run my Heart rate over 130 bpm. However the results are less than desirable. If I were you I would talk to your EP and look for a better option. It’s obvious the governor on your heart is keeping you in rhythm. My first ablation lasted 5 years before I started having AFFIB light. For several years after that I would usually convert on my own within a half hour. If not I used flecanide as a PIP. Things really deteriorated this past December and I ended up in the hospital in January. My EP happened to be doing proceedures that day and did my second ablation. This one did not last at all and I am curreby rocketritch - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hello Deniss, I'm headed to texas mid July to have my third ablation done by Dr. Natale. My first two were done by a doctor at UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh. The first was in August of 2009 and teh second this past January after haveing breakthrough affib. I too have some concerns about the possibility of having to remain on anticoagulants this time around as I am an avid cyclist. But tby rocketritch - AFIBBERS FORUM
When did you have your ablation? Are you on the meds only beause it has been a short period of time since your ablation? Anxiety/stress are definiatly triggers for some folks for sure. For me anxiety, stress and even focusing on my heart could cause an eppisode. If you could find some way to address your axiety or focus that may help.by rocketritch - AFIBBERS FORUM
I have been wondering this about myself. I started out paroximal (LAF) then afib free for several years following my first ablation. After my second ablation I became more persistant and now taking Ticosyn to remain in NSR.by rocketritch - AFIBBERS FORUM

Staying hydrated is hard and has always been an issue for me. The right balance of electrolyte on take has also been elusive. In the early phases of my affib journey, pre first ablation, I had to be careful with sports drinks. Especially if they were mixes provided by event sponsors. The wrong mix could put me into affib. Wow!!!! Very thorough. I have a scheduled ablation with Dr. Natale in mid July. This will be my third and I fully expect the kitchen sink ablation myself as my last ablation has left me to be worse off it seams.by rocketritch - AFIBBERS FORUM
I was not on any antirhythmic drugs before my first ablation and it was successful. I was on flecanide up until the day of my second. My second ablation failed miserabley and I can't help but think that is the reason why. I would make sure the check exactly what they want you to do.by rocketritch - AFIBBERS FORUM
