Three days after my 3rd Pfizer, I ended up in the emergency room with 20%PACs and 10%PVCs, Tropinin levels higher than 99% of general pop. 63yo that never had arrhythmia prior and had checked several times a year for normal heart beat. cMRI showed myocarditis. Problems lasted 3 months, but time, better diet, better vigorous exercise has gotten PACs and PVCs down to the hundreds. Interestingby AsympPACs - AFIBBERS FORUM
In my case, my sleeping heart rate goes down significanty lower (42-46) when my room is 60-65 degrees as compared to 68-70 (50-55) degrees. What temperature is his room while sleeping? Also I would be suspicious of how accurate HR is on Apple watch is for the times you sleep with your watch arm under your body weight.by AsympPACs - AFIBBERS FORUM
For me, my 8000-16000 PACs/day basically went away when I improved my diet and my exercise and reducing my Atorvastatin from 40mg to 20mg. Exercise had to include 2-4 hours a week of HR at 60-70% max or about 100-120 bpm for me. Lighter exercise did not seem sufficient in my case. Getting a semi-recumbant exercise bike that I could pedal while working at my desk was critical for me for fittiby AsympPACs - AFIBBERS FORUM
I would encourage considering a consumer class monitor like the Wellue AI-ECG if you are worried. It gives you realtime feedback through a smartphone and the PC app gives you 24-hr statistics of anomolies. Makes it easier to correlate food, exercise, medicine, fasting, etc, impact on heart. (You don't have to wait weeks for results). For me, only tiny episodes of AFIB and no ablation butby AsympPACs - AFIBBERS FORUM
I didn't have much AFIB but I had 8000-16000 PACs a day. (associated with COVID booster resulting in myocarditis.) 3-4 months of diet and exercise changes got my PACs under control. I swear by the continuous use of the Wellue AI-ECG monitor to get insights into impacts of different diet, exercise and medications. The smart phone app can show you realtime traces and the PC can give you 24by AsympPACs - AFIBBERS FORUM
I'm still using my Wellue but not every day anymore. My PACs seem to be best controlled by getting at least 2-4 hours of Heart zone rate 2 (about 100bpm for me) per week. Good diet but a week of low exercise levels/laying around seem to bring the PACs back. Good exercise levels and moderately good diet: can include 5-7 alcoholic drinks per week, occasional chocalate and caffienatedby AsympPACs - AFIBBERS FORUM
I have not tried any OCR software recently. But I am trying to minimize how many minutes a day I have to dedicate to tracking my heart. (It's now typically less than 5 minutes). My basic metric is hours with less than 75 PACs or PVCs- Typically I hit 23 or 24 hours and don't worry about it. If I get less than 20 hours with less than 75 PACs or PVCs, I then try to remember diet or acby AsympPACs - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi GeorgeN, Thanks for the reference to AGEs- quite interesting but currently hard to measure. I think the psychological problem with glucose is - it damages some people more than others and people want to eat sweet and assume that their body is one that is getting less glucose damage than others or that they have time to reverse things. I convinced myself that my PACs are a real-time indiby AsympPACs - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi DaveR, The details of the Wellue ECG are here: I am able to use the hour by hour table to quickly scan for good hours and bad hours for both PACs and PVCs just by looking at the number of digits in the columns. (See page 3 of the ECG report). The table is not as nice as the typical 1-week holter monitor graphs that are normally provided but the Wellue is infinitely less costly. I'm the supposed one in a million COVID over-30 males that got a vaccine shot (3rd) that has cMRI confirmed myocarditis after receiving COVID vaccine and going to emergency room three days later. I had 8000-16000 PACs a day for three months until I started a diabetic diet, exercised more and got my fasting glucose consistently under 100. (I deduced glucose correlation due to PACs occuby AsympPACs - AFIBBERS FORUM
Update: Less than 100 PACs a day for the past full month! Last change that seem to eliminate frequent PACs: Changed time of day for atorvastatin 40mg; now taken at 1pm instead of 8pm. Continued using raised room temp for sleep to 67 degrees. Continued the higher level of exercise; In the past month, I have brought back caffeine-1 mug a day; alcohol (1-2 drinks/day on some days); sweets; Havby AsympPACs - AFIBBERS FORUM
I have daily PACs. They are almost always totally asymptomatic unless I'm trying to feel them by putting pressure on my chest. I did not know I had PACs until I had my 3rd Pfizer COVID shot and then HS Troponin I enzyme test indicated heart inflammation in Nov 2021. Since then my daily PACS rose to as high as 16000 per day. There are likely several mechanisms that could be involved with development of arrhythmias. I found this figure from an NIH article interesting... My own PACs are back around 5000s again but I've fell off the diabetic diet and started more frequent exercise. My glucose today was 103 after fasting. (Bought an Contour Next Glucose meter). I'll be going back to the diabetic diet andby AsympPACs - AFIBBERS FORUM
I'm in the midst of trying to prevent AF in myself and this article in very welcome. My two Cardiologists tried to convince me that I shouldn't worry to much about frequent PACs (this is even though the latest analysis is the level of PACS I was getting gives me 11-times more likely chance of developing AF). The response was to prescribe a beta blocker as a preventative and wait 3 monby AsympPACs - AFIBBERS FORUM
My PACs are down to under 50 a day for the past three days! In my case, I definitively think it was glucose related. I've added to my daily exercise from light intensity brisk walking or 1.5-3 miles to also include 30-90 minutes of exercise bike riding at 100-120 bpm. My own doctor thought walking 1.5-3 miles a day was likely sufficient. There is much recent literature on glucose andby AsympPACs - AFIBBERS FORUM

Hi GeorgeN, Thanks for reading and advising! I actually started thinking about getting a glucometer- but I have had relatively poor and slow skin healing so I'm not inclined to poke myself constantly. It's conceivable that once my A1c drifts down toward 5.0 that the skin healing will improve. The PACs are now easy to monitor for, so I'm using them as my canaries in the coal miby AsympPACs - AFIBBERS FORUM
I did buy the Visual Beat ECG RECORDER WITH AI ANALYSIS. For my purposes, trying to analyze PAC frequent over the course of a day, many days in a row: it works great. First, its a small light device (~3/4-in x 3.7inch) that straddles between two electrode patches that you place diagonally on your left chest. No one can notice it unless you are wearing a tight shirt. To monitor in real-time,by AsympPACs - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi GeorgeN, Sorry I missed your response before I had ordered the Visual Beat ECG RECORDER WITH AI ANALYSIS. I did get 15% off through other means. It did fulfill my needs to far. The 3M Reddot electrodes that come with it are high quality and I can leave them on for a couple days. The AI works well at counting and providing good reports. A cool feature is the 24 hour recording is on theby AsympPACs - AFIBBERS FORUM
Here is my story on PACs- Caucasian male- age low 60s- never heard of PACs before Nov2021. BMI hovers 25.5-26.0 for 20 years. A1c for past 5 years, 5.8 to 5.2 to 5.8 (prediabetic). Hi All, I'm new to the forum. I'm dealing with asymptomatic but concerning PACs (currently 1 to 10 per minute).
