Thanks Jim. Thanks George.......certainly no cooldown after stopping the stress test, so I think might have been avoided with a cooldown and heart rate and level of exertion was way too much for my age...I won't go that high again even for a stress test.by Fidrych - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hello, I posted a couple of weeks ago about somewhat large Left Ventrical (mass 268 (but index 111)). At that same time I emailed my EP. He emailed back and said "sorry we should have discussed that finding at our appointment". I was to do another stress test (I think to check BP) and then see him. I did the stress test this morning and see him tomorrow. Stress test got up to 89% whiby Fidrych - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks.....is an the increase in size on the most recent echo an unlikely amount of enlargement/growth in the 1-1.5 years? Or can an LV grow that quickly.by Fidrych - AFIBBERS FORUM

Hi, If this is not specifically afib related enough, give me crap. I saw my EP last week after my first afib episode last month post ablation. Did the tests. Had my appointment. Waiting to see if I have another episode or not before doing another ablation. Anyway, we didn’t go over my test results during the appointment but I took copies home. Echo says everything “normal”. LA is 41. Thatby Fidrych - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hello, I have had afib since February 14, 2018. Had an ablation in June, 2021. Had my first afib episode since the ablation 2 weeks ago while on vacation in Florida. Came home a week later and was cardioverted via iv. Have had tests since as per usual after a hospital visit...echo, stress and holter. Had appointment with EP yesterday. Talked and decided to see what happens before we do anotherby Fidrych - AFIBBERS FORUM

I’ve been tested for Low T a few times. I forget my reading but I remember it being comparable to a 70 year old and I was only a 55 year old. I hadn’t heard the link and I google way too much. I’d love to supplement and gain a little muscle back!!by Fidrych - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Carey....I am not on any meds except for a blood thinner. I have been on bisoprolol a few years ago and yes my heart rate was hard to get over 105. And that was a very very small dose. (1.25). So, just to reiterate my inability to get up to what I think should be my max workable heart rate (130) is not tremendously unusual considering the ablation? What worries me even more is that my heartby Fidrych - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hello, 58 year old male.....just back at the gym as they just opened yesterday here in Ontario, Canada. This has been an issue working out at home and now the bike and treadmill at the gym are saying the same thing. My ablation was 6 weeks ago. My heart is resting at 80, higher than preablation 65. I have asked questions about that previously and was graciously answered by you. My heart rate iby Fidrych - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks Carey . You help me again. !!by Fidrych - AFIBBERS FORUM

Hello, 58 year old male here. Had an ablation 5 weeks ago. Had an echocardiogram and stress test last week. Both came back good. EF 76, normal function, normal wall thickness etc. Stress result was good 13.5 METS. I did the blood test yesterday as I had to book it two weeks in advance. Results came back. My white blood cell count was 9.0. A little higher than usual, but I had my Covid #2 6 daysby Fidrych - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thank you Carey. I feel a little better. I guess the whole game is to find scary things or who would do itby Fidrych - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hello. 58 yr old male here. I had an ablation almost 5 weeks ago. Rythmol was proving to be difficult for me. I emailed my EP, told him my BP was very low and I was dizzy. My blood pressure remains low (110-100/70-60) so not sure it was the Rythmol. Does go up sometimes. Anyway, he set up an echo and stress test that I did today. Only drug I’m on now is Edoxaban BTW. The Echo technician told meby Fidrych - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks. I’ll look that up. Yes my ppi was to be 5 weeks but I guess I’ve stopped at 4. I hope that ends up being it. I kind of just didn’t consider those sides because the Rythmol had do many and that’s what I have blamed everything on. I will let you know snd how my echo snd stress go on Wednesday.by Fidrych - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Carey and Poppino, My BP has been sitting down anywhere from 90/60 to 130/85. My standing is usually 85/55 to 105/70. Was at lowest after fairly good bike ride when it read 76/56. Of course when I went to the doctor my sitting was 120/80 and so was my standing🥴He said my cuff wasn’t junk, blood pressures change a lot. Still lost all credibility!! That’s all well and good but I’m dizzy 100by Fidrych - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Susan, I’m sensitive too. A cup of coffee and I can’t sit still. Do you think the Rythmol is still affecting me almost 4 days later? I can’t think of why I am so off kilter. I’m used to a bit of light headed ness, but this is too much.by Fidrych - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hello, 4 weeks since my ablation. All is good except I am breathless and dizzy upon minimal exertion. Ex: one flight of stairs. Thought it was Rythmol but went off Rythmol 3.5 days ago and still dizzy and breathless at the top of the stairs. Dizzy other times too. Seated biking good... until I get off and stand. Hiking up hills makes me dizzy. Anyone else have this happen to them after PVby Fidrych - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Susan, Thank you got the reassurance. I am very wimpy when it comes to tolerance to stimulants. Even coffee makes me too jumpy and anxious. Do you still take the Rythmol?by Fidrych - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Poppino....thanks for the response. Your having done without the AAD gives me s little confidence. My EP responded today to an email I sent him on Friday and has advised me to stop the Rythmol. As well I now have blood test, echo and stress test next Wednesday and follow up with him on August 3. I guess I’ll see how I do with the training wheels off starting tomorrow. I am new...who is thisby Fidrych - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Jeff. Thanks. I drink quite a lot. Never soda. Water or Gatorade. Or Milk. I’ve kind of upped my salt too. I find it unsettling due in part to Orthostatic hypotension being a otecurser to other more serious issues. But is the OH simply due to the anytyarrythmic I hope. And I will try an hydrate more to see.by Fidrych - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Greg. How’s the OH going? Did it resolve? We’re you on an anti arrythmic at that time? Are you now? I had my Pv ablation on June 4 . I’m on Rythmol. I am 58 and like to bike, hike and push my cardio. I have dizzyness when I stand. Dizziness and fluttery vision when I hike up a hill. My lying BP Is generally 130/85. Sitting. 110/70. Standing 82/58. Freaking me out. Maybe jby Fidrych - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hello, I’m new. I am a 58 year old male. Exercise every day. I had my first AF episode on February 14,2018. I didn’t know what it was so didn’t go to the hospital until a few days later. I was put on Eliquis for about a month and then cardioverted successfully. I didn’t have another episode until May, 2020, then again September, 2020 and then again January, 2021.
