Hjjjjjjjjj Hi 🅱😂bbb😂bhbbj. B Oops! One of the grand children was playing with my phone yesterday and somehow sent our afib community the above message. He also sent an image of a grizzly bear waving hello to my contractor.by DennisC - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi New Yorker, I took a long time before I became comfortable with having an ablation. The several EPs I discussed ablations with fudged the answers as to who will actually be controlling the cables inside my heart. Then I discovered Dr Natale through this terrific forum. Dr Natale’s response to that question is he alone works the cables. Although he is a great teacher of what he does to otby DennisC - AFIBBERS FORUM

H Jackie, I scanned your very thorough report on Vit D and didn't notice if it covered D's therapeutic relationship to MS. I apologize if it's in there and I missed it. Below is a link to a report on AOL today. Dennisby DennisC - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM

Hi Shannon, Sorry about Magdalena's experience. Hope that she is one of those fortunate people who have it never return. Speaking of our golden years and AF my 77 year old brother just had a minor stroke. He lives alone and one evening he realized that he was not walking a straight line. He didn't call any of us because he has had several episodes of vertigo and thought that he goby DennisC - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Shannon, sorry to read about your eye problems. You have been through a lot and always smartly and with an optimism that lifts all of up. Wishing the best for you. Dennisby DennisC - AFIBBERS FORUM
It's been a while since I last checked in. I am feeling very grateful and thought I should share it with the people who have made it possible. Today is my first day back to work after spending a week at the Jersey shore with my immediate family. There were 18 of us in a 8 bedroom house. My, wife and children, their spouses and 10 grandchildren had a very active week. I was right in theby DennisC - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Shannon, Great report. I know Mchale really appreciated you arranging your schedule to be there with him. He's is a lucky guy being treated by the best and having you there to usher him through the process out of his comfort zone in a strange city. Priceless! Dennisby DennisC - AFIBBERS FORUM
HI Barb, If you are worried about ONE drink then don't do it. Not worth the risk for one drink. Especially if one drink caused trouble in the past. Anyway with your personality you don't need no stinking Pina Colada to have fun! Enjoy the cruise! Dennisby DennisC - AFIBBERS FORUM
Shannon rebuts Dr Mandrola's opinion featured in his Trials and Fribrillations column in this powerfully written article. Now the readers of Medscape know what we have known for years that Shannon is committed patient advocate and valuable resource.for AF patients! Dennisby DennisC - AFIBBERS FORUM
The recent Journal Of Atrial Fibrillation reports that Dr Natale was named the GAFA physician ambassador of the year. And our own Shannon Dickson is the GAFA Patient Ambassador of the Year. This recognition, for both of them, is about as well deserved and aptly named as any award that I can recall. Congratulations to both. Dennisby DennisC - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Charlene sorry to read about your diagnosis. Don't know about gastroparisis but do know I would consult Dr Natale or another top tier ep. What you doctor gave you was one person's opinion. Get some others. Best of luck. Dennisby DennisC - AFIBBERS FORUM

Hi Alex, I recently had a discussion with one of my children about, based on my experience, what supplements would i recommend he take. After thinking about it i could only attest to observing a desired effect with powered potassium. I suspect that the supplemental magnesium i take is helpful but I cannot swear to it. I strongly believe that the Zyflamend i use has been helpful in keping paby DennisC - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Hi Lasik1, I fought af, as best I could, with lifestyle modification and PIP Flec protocol for about 10 years . I was relatively successful in getting my af burden to lessen over time but I couldn't eradicate it. It didn't interfere with travel but I was wary of exercise, or working out in the sun, as dehydration would always cause a problem. AF, or the fear of AF was a constant coby DennisC - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi chuck. I'm sure someone will jump on here if they have the stats. Personally I had two cardioversons for flutter after my first ablation and it's been 13 months since my second and no flutter/Af. Dr Natale tracks his PTs long term,3 years or so I believe, and he has a very high success rate. I will feel fortunate if I get 5 years of being AF free. Hi TSCO, The one factor I could not control was stress. Even situations/events I enjoyed caused trouble for me. Since my second ablation i have been AF free and do not get the physical symptoms from stress i did pre ablation. Good luck addressing your stressors . I could not find a remedy. Hi Travis. My local ep and cardiologist make the day to day calls on my treatment and dr Natale made the calls immediately pre and post ablation. On the initial consultation he was terrific. He was on time and spent a lot of time with me. As I recall it was I who ended the session by stating I was ready to schedule. At the touch up ablation consultation I knew he was seeing me between scheby DennisC - AFIBBERS FORUM

Hi Liz, sorry about your injuries. I have had several serious undiagnosed shoulder injuries with a very norrow pain free range of motion They each took about a year to resolve. I concentrated on repeating movements within the pain free range of motion which very gradually increased over months. I was young then and perhaps I did not have a tear.
