Ok i had my virtual with Dr Natale and nurse Shannon this morning: they are already planning me for the Watchman Flex. Pending insurance. He told me they now wait 4 months post ablation in many instances rather than 6. He also told me the chances of a functioning LAA are 20% not 40. So i would fly back , get a TEE then the Watchman the very next day. Then a TEE at 6 weeks , but 1/2 dose of eliquis immediately plus 81 aspirin for 6 months , so positive news in regard to progress as they said its not outa the question i get back soon Dec or Jan. So june i might. Maybe. Possibly get outa jail. He also said that my HAS BLED of 3 helps. And! He can touchup the LAA during Watchman install if necessary
He was his usual happy positive self. Also seeing very low % of thrombus on device these days. 1%.
