Walt,
When I first developed tachycardia, ectopics and then afib in the 1990's when having an eye check the moment they put me under the microscope and that extremely bright light it would instantly trigger a rush of ectopics so I would back away from the microscope several times until they subsided (30 secs or so) much to the annoyance of the Opthamologist.
I asked the Opthamolgist if the eyes were attached to the Vagus nerve and he said yes.
I don't have that problem now but have had two instances of viscous detachment in the past 3yrs that have increased the amount of “floaters” in my vision that is very annoying.
Have always thought that afib and eye probllems are linked and interested to see if other afibbers have increased eye problems.
