Great--- looks like it worked for this man that had it done---I never liked the idea of burning holes in the heart. I wonder if this procedure will be once and done.

Only if the operator is skilled at finding and mapping sources of afib. That aspect won't change, and that's the skill that separates the true experts from the rest of the crowd. If you don't ablate the right places, it doesn't matter what technology you use. However, it should vastly improve outcomes with skilled operators because it's a huge improvement in safety as discussed in the thread George linked.
