Ask 5 people what is good food, get 8 different opinions. I say that pemmican is the perfect food, when taken in a green leafy salad with raw egg yolk and the iodine protocol.by William - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
+1 for the supplements, the iodine protocol being the major one, as it is known to have cured afib.by William - AFIBBERS FORUM
Kelp does not do the trick. Good advice given in the link I posted above.by William - AFIBBERS FORUM
Most iodine tests are not reliable, so the successful have learned to ignore their doctors and go by their own experience. You might find this useful: AFAIK the only way of being rid of bromine is the iodine protocol.by William - AFIBBERS FORUM
Just water is a poor way of getting hydrated, as many have found. There was the runner in the Boston Marathon who died; not enough electrolytes in his blood to keep the heart beating. I drink distilled water, but always add for 2 litres: 1 or 2 teaspoon pickling or canning salt (close enough to pure salt - do not use table salt). 1 teaspoon vit. C as ascorbic acid 1 teaspoon potassium chlorby William - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
I've suspected that the heart is being starved of something during arrhythmia; now here is a reason why. From: I was almost certainly hypothyroid, fixed by doing the iodine protocol and no longer fear heart problem(s). Easily chilled, but now it's like there is summer inside in winter. Enzymes rule! "Hmm, not thyroid related directly IMO, rather enzyme related; and theby William - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
While boric acid kills all fungus/yeast/mold on the surface, deeper infections require other methods. I never tried colloidal silver, but Lugol's iodine as part of Dr Brownstein's iodine protocol worked.by William - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Please do not ignore the iodine protocol; has cured afib for many as well as other diseases caused by malnutrition. Put "iodine protocol atrial fibrillation" into a search engine and see for yourself.by William - AFIBBERS FORUM
The iodine protocol works: Can't say from personal experience, because I found that my trigger was cooked carbohydrates/low fat. Still, I do the iodine protocol for many other reasons, as it turns out to be an essential nutrient for all the body.by William - AFIBBERS FORUM
I am a year older than your father, and went through a similar aging process, so feel qualified to write about this. "The hospital said that he would only get worse " I regret to write that this is true. Nothing modern medicine can do can save him, in my experience. IMHO What does work is to eat only raw (pemmican) and supplement with the iodine protocol of Dr. Brownstein.by William - AFIBBERS FORUM
I just tape the North side to a small burn or bug bite, it removes pain and itch in 1/2 hour. If the itch is serious (no see 'ums) a second application always works in another 1/2 hour. BTW years ago I got a big one, and used it to stop a heart arrhythmia. I was overjoyed. It worked twice, and never again for that. This is why I rave about the raw paleolithic diet + iodine protocol. Things disappear from the net, so I think it useful to post this: DR. JOHNSON'S HEALTHY LIVING NEWSLETTER Friday, November 10, 2006 Iodine: The Forgotten Health Link From 1900 to the 1960s almost every single U.S. physician used Lugol (iodine) supplements in his or her practice for both hypo- and hyperthyroid, as well as many, many other conditions-all with excellent results.by William - AFIBBERS FORUM
"For me, I thought I had the beast tamed with Iodone - seemed to work for 6 mths" The iodine protocol is a powerful supplement, but still only a supplement. Proper nutrition comes first. Not easy.by William - AFIBBERS FORUM
Potassium, Taurine and Magnesium are three of the essential nutrients, good for you. It's like putting 3 wheels on a car made for 4 wheels and driving away, you can do it but not well, as you have experienced. The other essential nutrients are selenium, iodine, boron, vit. C. One of these is actually proven by both regular medicine and alternatives to smooth out heartbeat. Williamby William - AFIBBERS FORUM
Ian, we don't live in a natural or primitive environment, although our ancestors did. The result of living in a polluted and mineral-deficient planet is that we must provide the tools/minerals that our immune system needs to defend us from a toxic environment or suffer chronic disease. If you are like practically everyone else, your thyroid has bromine and/or fluorine in the iodine receptby William - AFIBBERS FORUM
Yes, we live in a poisoned planet. The trick is to get rid of whatever possible (iodine protocol can do some of this), and avoid getting any more. Williamby William - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
"a complex interplay already explored" Minerals are fundamental to all interactions - this from: - the presentations give food for thought. It does not seem reasonable to expect iodine protocol to do any good for thyroid while on thyroxin, so I would seek advice from the most experienced physician - Dr. Brownstein preferably. For the reason for iodine dose amount see this thread:by William - AFIBBERS FORUM
A maintenance dose of iodine is usually considered to be 50 to 62 mg. How much a person needs depends on their burden of toxins, which vary for all of us, and the radiation from Fukushima adds to the burden. After copying the most experienced users I use Magnascent, and SSKI which I make myself. Lugol's is also effective and harmless. Since iodine is needed by every organ in the body incluby William - AFIBBERS FORUM
Ameoderone is probably what I spell Amiodarone, so it's iodine. Yes, iodine cures asthma, helps my breathing too. Williamby William - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Why was the mortality increase unexpected? At least some of the radiation poisoning can be avoided by using potassium iodide. If you add the rest of the iodine protocol you can fix your arrhythmia too. Williamby William - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
It's not necessarily ablation that causes it, since sufficient iodine is needed for the integrity of the myelin sheath around all nerves. In a state of iodine deficiency, the myelin sheath is defective, so short circuits can happen anywhere including the vagus nerve, brain etc. Williamby William - AFIBBERS FORUM
I'd rather be rid of it than waste time managing it, but chacun a son gout. Williamby William - AFIBBERS FORUM
If anyone could be cured of LAF or any kind of heart rhythm disturbance by eating seaweed we would have heard of it, and someone would be bragging about it. As it is, the only known cure is the iodine protocol.by William - AFIBBERS FORUM
Darcy, when you write iodine, was that the iodine protocol and diet, or just iodine by itself? Williamby William - AFIBBERS FORUM
My psvt was always violently arrhythmic, and the only thing I could do was lie down or faint. I think that the key for me was to be rid of the toxins that cause it, and it seems that only iodine protocol + paleo does that in any reasonable time. Williamby William - AFIBBERS FORUM
You don't have to accept it. Others have got rid of it, so can you, see this: Williamby William - AFIBBERS FORUM
Practically all disease is malnutrition; we've identified the deficiencies here as iodine, magnesium, potassium and selenium. There is a protocol here which will help: If you need professional help, try the doctors who can cure afib, such as Dr.s West, Flechas, Brownstein etc. I posted a list of iodine-literate docs here a few days ago. afib is curable, except for those who insist on beiby William - AFIBBERS FORUM
Positive mood changes happen when people eat raw zero carb diet. This diet also cures disease. Same thing reported with the iodine protocol, although the detox period in the beginning can be rough. Williamby William - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
