Just a thank you for the comments and an update: Day 3 (Saturday) of presumed flutter... the forewarned potential pro-arrhythmic effect of the flecainide produced incredible dizziness & 3 separate periods of HIGHLY symptomatic afib... skipped the evening dose & by 9pm the dizziness ameliorated & the afib episodes stopped. Went early this (Sunday 9/18) morning to local ER - arrived @by joshua - AFIBBERS FORUM
All those ingredients look good. Note that if it seems warranted you could safely increase the Taurine significantly. I take about 3000 mg as it also helps with sleep. Hope this continues to help.by Daisy - AFIBBERS FORUM

I take Kal Brand Magnesium Orotate 200 mg. That's 200 mg in 4 capsules, so 50 mg in one. I've had people on this forum say the orotate form doesn't absorb well. But I've always liked it. It doesn't cause diarrhea which is nice, too. I've tried many forms of Mag. The glycinate form relaxes me too much, which figures as glycine's a relaxing amino acid. / I'by californiagal - AFIBBERS FORUM
I (foolishly) stopped taking Taurine and other heart supportive supplements after my Jan 2023 ablation and Feb 2023 cardioversion--both by Natale. Mid November I got COVID and my heart rate went up 20 bpm average. I am taking Eliquis 5 mg daily plus Mg and K. Boosting the K to 20 MEQ (Rx) twice daily decreased Afib episodes before COVID. In 2004, I was in the midst of what turned out to be a 2.5 month episode & discussed getting an ECV with my EP. His comment at that time, was, "I can convert you to NSR with the ECV, the question is how do we keep you in NSR." This is a valid point, unless you change something, the conversion is likely not to last long (and there are quite a few reports here of this happening). Tby GeorgeN - AFIBBERS FORUM

Have always had the “athletic heart” thing and always a low heart rate that sometimes dips into the 40s. I think the mention of the beta blocker got thrown in by mistake but thanks for mentioning it. Hi Mark, In the "for what it is worth" category. Last week I was chatting with an in-person (vs virtual) friend who, like me, has been an afibber for around 19 years. He used propafenone for many years on-demand. Then was switched to flecainide chronically. Currently 50 mg 2x/day along with 12.5 mg metoprolol 2x/day. Hi Brian, Does the afib happen during the exercise or after? I ask to see if your exercise trigger tends to be adrenergic or vagal (parasympathetic). QuoteGeorgeN Because most Mg compounds have a basic pH, I take mine away from everything else so as not to compromise digestion of the other stuff. With my high Mg intake, I'm certain most of it ends up in my urine. However, backing my intake down leads to increased afib episodes for me, even though my RBC magnesium levels are always in the 7's and optimal is considered 6.5. That isby Madeline - AFIBBERS FORUM

A little confused here Lynn. You state that AFIB is genetic (brother, 2 cousins and yourself) and then how it was necessary to remove gluten from your life. To Carey's point, in my case, calcium was not my initial trigger, which was likely too much long duration, high heart rate endurance exercise. At the time of my initial afib episode in 2004, I was eating a whole food vegan diet, so not high in calcium (however low taurine from the vegan diet could have contributed).
