Carol, Very low blood glucose ( hypoglycemia) can cause palpitations and atrial fib . Jackie has written many posts about this topic from own experience. I suggest that you test your blood glucose late at night at least to exclude this possibility. best wishes, Benby ben saif - AFIBBERS FORUM
Can the stomach - esophagus-Gerd issues be the root causes of atrial fib for some afibbers? If so why not first treat the root causes ? May be that is why some ablations are not 100% successful. Same is valid for other conditions like sleep apnea . Benby ben saif - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Susan from my experience with fish oil and CO Q 10 they are triggering many ectopics . Hence I don't use fish oil . Sometimes I take small doses of Q10 but not regularly. I take very small doses of crestor with no problems. If I were you I would stop the two for a week and take a rest then introduce them separately and in lower doses first to discover the main trigger. Regards. Benby ben saif - AFIBBERS FORUM

Tun, As Jackie said there is strong correlation between mitral valve prolapse (MVP)and atrial fibrillation and this depends on the extent or degree of MVP and this can be determined by a competent cardiologist or thoracic surgeon preferably in a cardiac center. You can go to the university clinic in your country to find the best specialists. It is not advisable to do an ablation before knowingby ben saif - AFIBBERS FORUM

I am 72 years old male and had paroxysmal afib for more than 8 years. I tried some supplements (MG, potassium, Q10 ,vitamins..etc) which helped a little but did not stop the afib. The best results I got by taking 100 mg fleckanide + beta blocker as pip. My main triggers were caffeine , chocolate and stress (physical but more emotional stress). My life was extremely negatively affected by my conby ben saif - AFIBBERS FORUM

George, can you compare your polar s810 watch + the application you mentioned with the alive cor iphone device? can the alive cor do the same jop better and easier? best regards Benby ben saif - AFIBBERS FORUM
For ectopics which might develope to afib i immediately took beta blocker (concor 2.5 mg or 5 mg sometimes) and waited 30 minutes or little more . If I notice improvement i wait further if afib happens i took 100 mg of fleckanide which converted me in 3 to 5 hours. Yes fleckanide is very useful. Sometimes the betablocker did the trick.
