Thanks, Carey. Finally. Why couldn’t Google explain it to me the way you did.by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
QuoteCarey Sure, it's possible, but that still doesn't doom a standard PVI to failure. The result might be you end up with the ectopics continuing in the form of PACs but no longer being able to sustain afib. What does that mean? Ectopics continuing in the form of PACS? How can you tell the difference between PACS, ectopics and palpitations?by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks, Jackie, I bookmarked the site. The Kimchi has helped. Things are pretty much back to normal. rmal.by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
Wolfpack, I’ve pretty much stayed fat free since last June except for nuts, seeds and avocados. Recently I introduced Olive Oil. Perhaps my system is rebelling.by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
Joy, I came through a six-hour surgery procedure which left me with Laryngopharyngeal Reflux (Silent Reflux), or LPR. It took almost two years to get myself back on track by reading. One book that helped me immensly was Why Stomavh Acid Is Good For You, by Dr. Jonathan Wright. There is a goat farm not too far from us where I would buy fresh goat milk every week and ferment my own Kefir. Orby Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
Wolfpak, I recently had a full physical with blood panel Everything was within nirmal range. Today, I’m eleminating a bit more normal, but not quite there. Is it pissible that sometimes we injest food bourne germs?by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
Jackie, if my BP continues to remain stable, I will eventually stop the half tablet. I realize it doesn’t take much, whether it be diet or stress, to throw the heart off. That seems to be the challenge.by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
Carey, I picked up the 11.5oz cans today and plan to continue. Besides, my BP med has been reduced to half a tablet. My kidney functions are fine.by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
Forgot to mention, picked up some Kimchi today. Thought it might work like a probiotic.by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
Jackie, i’ll get mild pain lower part of my stomach, almost mimicking pelvic pain, then followed by diarrhea which lasts several says. Presently, the diarrhea has sibsided, but the stools are still not formed well and they float. Otherwise, I haven’t changed my diet, feel really good and full of energy. The only change is giving up regular tea and now only drink decaf. It has helped reduceby Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
Liz, I don’t disagree with you and that’s why I don’t take potassium supplements. Two weeks ago I went into Afib, after a long stretch, and had an 8oz. glass of LS V-8. My episode lasted only 2 hours versus the usual 4 to 6 hours. I also don’t know, and as you suggest bloodwork to determine my levels, what they are. Also the fact that I’m on a potassium sparing diuretic, still, I seemby Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
Sometimes right after I eat, I experiece palpitations. Sometimes my stomach starts acting up. I’m wondering if probiotics would be helpful. If so, which kind?by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
Carey, my BP med ( Triamterene/HCTZ) the Triamterene is potassium sparing. My very first episode of Afib happened 24 hours later when my doctor changed my BP med. to just HCTZ, so potassium is very important for me and the Afib. The 5.5 oz cans of LS V-8 juice contains 800 mg of potassium. I can drink 2 a day and up it later on.by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
George, I am totally fummoxed as to how much potassium to take. I feel safe and ok with Magnesium since bowel intolerence is a sign of too much, but clueles as to potassium. I an a big veggie and salad eater. However, when I have an Afib episode, it seems to shorten the time.by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
AB, can you link me to the product? Never heard of it. Thanks.by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
Just a heads up, the formula has been changed. Potassium down to 850 from 900. Campbell Soup’s rep. had no explanation as to why. Everything else stays.by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
Seriously, both my husband and I have been on Warfarin for the past three years wirh absolutely no issues. We know what the medication requires; that is, stay consistent with your diet. If you are fond of salads (vit. K) have it a few times a week, versus once a month. We go to our local hospital to have our INR checked every 6 weeks. Sometime, the numbers either climb high or dip down dependby Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
David, can I ask where you purchase the powder in bulk?by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
Yeah, I’m trying to muster up the courage. Thanks Carey.by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
Two years ago was my second episode which was accompanied by pain lasting almost an hour until I got to the ER. I was then admitted and hospitalized for three days. That night I went into sinus. I went through a battery of tests including a chemical stress test. Bloodwork was done each day to check on my enzymes and I was given a very painful shot in my stomach, once a day. Was released andby Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM

My palps and A-fib occur at all times, although recently, they are in the evenings.by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
Bloody, frustrating syndrome this is. I think when you’re symptom free for a few months and then it starts, the diasappointment is terrible. I feel for you, RR.by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thank you for the links and information. Question: George mentioned his A-fib is vagul. One; how do you know that? Two; wouldn’t most palps and A-fib episodes respond well to vagul stimulation? By the way, I had an A-fib episode at 1:30 a.m., converted by 4:40 a.m. Fred, our beloved cat, woke me from a deep sleep DEMANDING to be petted. I wasn’t too happy. For the past four days I haveby Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM

Joe: It absolutely is a “cookie cutter medical care”. Actually my first visit with the cardiologist who prescribed taking anti-coagulants pointed to a chart taped to the office wall, when I asked him why I needed to take them. The risk was my gender and age. Jackie: Thank you for those links, as I plan to look into them all. I confess, sometimes the content of your posts are “above my pay gby Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
Reading about life style changes relative to inflammation and Afib, I keep reading how inflammation contributes to this syndrome. Dr. Axe, Natural Ways To Treat Inflammation - , talks about inflammation: “Various lifestyle practices can help control arrhythmia symptoms and keep them from getting worse, especially inflammation.
