I found this article: --Vitamin C: new role of the old vitamin in the cardiovascular system-- pretty interesting. There was a lot to ponder. One thing caught my eye "Oral doses greater than 500 mg daily contribute little to further increase in plasma concentration or tissue stores." This seems to fly in the face of Linus Pauling's research. I'm still wondering if the Linus Pby lkwetter - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hello, I used to be active on this forum years ago. I had an ablation with Dr. Moeen Abedin in El Paso, TX at least 6 years ago and have been doing great so far. Recently, I had available to me a book on the Linus Pauling treatment for heart disease and it dawned on me that this is rarely mentioned on this group as something anyone is trying. I wondered why that is. According to this book, vitamby lkwetter - AFIBBERS FORUM
I happened on this supplement while looking into mitochondrial dysfunction and thought it would be a useful for a-fib. As we age, our mitochondria slowly become damaged. The damage can be accelerated by lifestyle, diet and other stresses. Mitochondria are the energy producers for our bodies and damage to them is associated with many diseases including heart disease and cancer. I feel like this waby lkwetter - AFIBBERS FORUM

I've tried Toprol, metoprolol, and atenolol at some point in the past, all with bad results after just a short period of use. All caused me to have more and longer a-fib episodes. After stopping, I was stuck with the longer a-fib episodes. Tishby lkwetter - AFIBBERS FORUM
Steve, Thanks for posting this and for putting details up on the web. I think it's interesting. I cannot take vitamin D3 supplements without feeling absolutely terrible and I won't sleep nights at all from the most tiny amounts. I have always been baffled by this. Fairly recently, I had a genetic test run at 23andMe and found from the results that I have a defective vitamin D recepby lkwetter - AFIBBERS FORUM
I posted some time ago about the MTHFR genetic defect and its impact on the heart. I found out about this from a friend who was diagnosed with it. I decided after reading up on it to get tested. My results came back showing my methyl cycle (the body's mechanisms for detoxifying itself) is genetically impaired by 60%. So, I started these supplements: Riboflavin (as Riboflavin 5'-Phospby lkwetter - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hello All, Haven't posted in a long time. Recently, a friend was diagnosed with the MTHFR mutation, which causes elevated homocystein, chronic fatigue, celiac, heart problems, high blood pressure, among a number of other things. I thought the information might be helpful to some on this group, so am posting it here. You can get genetic tests for it fairly reasonably and without doctor'by lkwetter - AFIBBERS FORUM
I wanted to write and tell everyone that I had an ablation with Dr. Moeen Abedin in El Paso, TX. I've had a-fib for about 7 years and was having it 12 hour episodes about once every 4 days near the end. Since I live in Texas, I originally saw Dr. Natale and had an ablation scheduled with him. I started asking questions about my risk of needing to be on blood thinners the rest of my life afteby lkwetter - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hello, I've been meaning to write in for a while on this topic. Two months ago, I decided to start taking diatomaceous earth as a treatement for mild digestive issues. My dose is 1 tablespoon a day. Within a month or so, I noticed some amazing improvements in my skin. My face looked a lot younger and people commented that I was looking healthier. I lost all the dry patches on my hands.
