Hi everyone, I have a history of paroxysmal a fib. I also have asthma. Recently do to formulary change on my WellCare part D plan I’ve had to change my asthma inhalers . On a normal basis I have used Flovent HFA without any issues but the manufacturer is no longer making it. So am trying to see if I can find one that won’t trigger my a fib. Hi everyone, Monday I had to visit the Er for Asthma issues. I was wheezing, short of breath and coughing. I usually use Levalbuterol solution because I’ve been told it won’t give you the side effects of albuterol.. I was really bad so the Dr. ordered Ipratropium/Albuterol nebulizer.. wow to my amazement it really worked better than the Levalbuterol I take. And it didn’t trigger my a fib. Hi everyone, I have paroxysmal a fib. I’ve read that some people take magnesium taurate and also magnesium glycinate .Can anyone recommend if it’s better to take both or just one of them for a fib. Your right I have to take.a good look and see how I can try at least continue with my life and not let it win. Most of the time I stay home and keep calm but a whole day goes by . Carey , I understand why you go to work , but in my situation ,my job is running around a school cafeteria for 4 hours , so sometimes I just feel like taking it easy at home . Ken , I appreciate you taking the time to respond. Just like you I know exactly when I go into a fib and when it leaves. This episode is finally over after 15 hours . Good Morning everyone, Just went into a fib around 4 am. I have paroxysmal a fib. Normally when I go into a fib and I am scheduled to work I call out and just try to relax till it goes away. Today I called out but I have a dentist appt. to have a crown put on a tooth that had root canal. Am debating weather I should go or not. Hi everyone, I have asthma and also have paroxysmal A Fib. For the longest I’ve been on a steroid inhaler Flovent HFA. Just recently my asthma has started to act up and my Dr. recommended Trelegy Ellipta. I looked up the drug interactions and I am a little hesitant to start this . I read an article the other day that a fibbers should be on some sort of magnesium and Vit D3 supplement. I have occasionally taken Vit D . My cardio has never mentioned to take magnesium but am sure it does help . Thank you everyone for taking the time to reply. Today 3 days after my a fib episode my blood pressure went through the roof 177/104. I am asthmatic and I’ve been using Incruse ellipta. I went to the ER because I was feeling dizzy, light headed and off the wall. They didn’t find out why my BP was up and I wasn’t in a fib. It took all day for it finally to normalize. Hi everyone , on Tuesday I had an episode lasted 15 1/2 hours . My last episode was 4 months ago. Now my blood pressure is 150/100 and then it went down to 128/96 . Got Covid a few days ago. Because I have asthma my pulmonologist prescribed a Z pack, and Levalbuterol nebulizer.. Two days into the Zpack , my a fib gets triggered. I am really concerned because not sure what triggered it and if I should continue the z pack or have the antibiotic changed or could it just be the Covid itself. Since 2016 I’ve had paroxysmal a fib. It’s been 7 months since I’ve had an episode. Today saw cardio and he recommends eliquis. I’ve been taking baby aspirin. I am really scared . Am on Medicare and the cost is very expensive $145 for 30 day supply. Hi , I have asthma plus paroxysmal A Fib. I have always used an Flovent Inhaler which is a corticosteroid inhaler. Now I have run in a situation that my Flovent inhaler isn’t helping me much and my Dr. wants me to try Breo or Advair which are inhalers that that have a corticosteroid and a LABA ( long acting beta 2 Adrenergic agonist ) .
