Thanks everyone for your input and information. I'm not on coumadin, so I don't have to worry about that. But I still may try to get some in the diet. Whole Foods in the states sells a butter made from grass fed cows, as well as eggs from grass fed chickens. I'm going to start using those, as well as a suppliment. I think the one from I-herb (MK7) comes in 90 mg tabs. Jackiby John21 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Has anyone tried Vitamin K2 suppliments or adding K2 to the diet by eating butter/ eggs from grass fed animals? I read "Vitamin K2 and the Calcium Paradox" and the author was very positive about reducing plaque buildup by adding K2 to the diet in some fashion. I was thinking it may benefit affibers, because I believe I read somewhere that Afib may be caused by a buildup of calcium iby John21 - AFIBBERS FORUM

Thanks everyone for the advice. I was wondering about the bowel tolerance levels of Magesium, I definitely didn't reach it with 800 mg, in fact I was a little constipated, which was strange. I'll be ramping that up a bit. I'll look into getting the metabolic assessment. I am working with an ND near Pittsburgh. Thanks for the book recommendation Gordon, I'll check it out.by John21 - AFIBBERS FORUM
I'm one month into the full Strategy and showing some positive results. After in increase in AFib episodes from about 4-5/year to 3 a month, I started on 600-800 mg of Mag glycinate( doctors best) 1500 mg potassium gluconate powder , 2000 mg taurine,100 mg co q 10(ubiquinone), 750 mg of glycyne propionyl-l-carnitine, 1600 mg carlson fish oil ,250 mg of l-theanine, and 5mg of d-ribose beby John21 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Pete, Glad the yoga worked for you. I didn't have much luck with it. I did it for about a year and a half. The inverted positions tended to give me some ectopics, and I think I came close to going into afib a couple times in the class. My afib is mostly adrenergic. It wasn't hot yoga though, maybe that would be different. I'm thinking the far infared sauna may help me, alongby John21 - AFIBBERS FORUM
No, Nancy, it is just a store bought green drink, from Wallgreens. I'm going to go back to actually jucing , but I need something that won't spoil throughout the day. I'm also making it with waller water, so that may add to the alkalizing effect.by John21 - AFIBBERS FORUM
I started using a green drink daily to try to help alkalize my diet, and noticed it had stevia in it. Has anyone had any problems with this sweatener?by John21 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Tired searching around the site looking for exact ingredients and amounts to make waller water. Looking for someone to save me some work.by John21 - AFIBBERS FORUM

Frustrating because I love being out in the winter, used to cross country ski, hike, whatever. Still in afib from yesterday's attempted hike. It was 18 degrees, Maybe if I would have started really slowly , and aclimatized to the temp, it wouldn't have triggered, but I dont know. Thinking of persuing the ablation. I'm at least scheduling an appt with Dr Schweikert in Akron ( 3by John21 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hello, I've been feeling well, since adding Potassium 500 mg 3 x /day and taurine 1000 mg 3 x day to my magnesuim. Very few skipped or irregular beats in the last two weeks. But I just tried a hike in 20 degree weather and went right into afib. Very frustrating. 3rd episode this month, all with outdoor activities. I thought the additions to my program were really making a difference,by John21 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Sounds interesting, , George, I have a trx and love it. What exercises do you substitute? I have found I have some problems exercising in the recumbant position. Seems to trigger my afib more. Johnby John21 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks Jackie for the great info. I'll keep those things in mind. BTW, I tried a teaspoon of apple cider vineger before dinner last night and felt great, no sensations of having to burp or anything. I'll be looking forward to your Gerd Report. thanks again, Johnby John21 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi Jackie, The liquid Mag is called Ionic Magnesium. I take about 400 mg 2 x /day. It was recommended to me by a Naturopath . It's by a company called Trace Minerals. It has chloride 1120 mg, sodium 10 mg, potassium 5 mg, sulfate 90 mg and boron 1.5 mg. My Stress level is.... well probably higher than it should be , but thats my fault. I think I make it more stressful than it shouldby John21 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hello all, I am relatively new to the site, and I am greatful for all the knowledge that I have gained. It seems most people have vagel or mixed laf. I may also be mixed, but probably 90% of my episodes have been triggered by exercise. I have about 1 a month, but they have worsened lately to 2-3 per month. I was doing well with a naturopath who had me on liquid Mag (yuk) and some enzymby John21 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thank You Shannon, I'm leaning that way. Have to check and see if he is "in network" so I can get some insurance coverage.by John21 - AFIBBERS FORUM
HI Monty, I too have had issues with dental work and afib. I always assumed it was the novacane, because I sometimes would get a flutter right after the shot. I only know for sure that my episodes increase significantly after having cavities filled, or a crown put in. Sorry I don't have an anser for you, impossible for me to go without novacane, and I'm more afaid the gas would doby John21 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thank you both! I'm about half way between the two, so I'll check into those areas.by John21 - AFIBBERS FORUM
