I tried relying on the UK Gupta when I first got AF and even reached out to him a few times, no response, no results. IMHO he should have spoken very strongly for continuing anti-coagulation for those that are already on it. AF is a hassle, taking pills everyday or 2x a day is a hassle, atrial myopathy may be the daddy, but stroke is the mother-in-law from hell or the uncle that molests yby NotLyingAboutMyAfib - AFIBBERS FORUM
Received a Zio in mail today. 7 days of wearing so I thought I'd start Sunday evening. I plan to do the range of activities that I normally do in a week. The directions look pretty straight forward but hoping others have some tips. TIAby NotLyingAboutMyAfib - AFIBBERS FORUM

I would start looking at all of the factors that might be leading you down the road to AFIB and make the lifestyle changes now before the beast takes up residence in your life. Family history, your diet and lifestyle, lab work, cardiologists etc. Prevention is a good strategy. Don't ignore it - get busy with trying to sort this out.by NotLyingAboutMyAfib - AFIBBERS FORUM
Congrats Blu. Good to hear no issues.by NotLyingAboutMyAfib - AFIBBERS FORUM
My tip - have someone present to advocate for you in post recovery. Even experienced ablation teams and facilities can overlook post operative complications. While not to ward you off of getting an ablation, it's always possible that anything that can go wrong may go wrong and your advocate should know what to look for. Semi-related A long time ago a friend of mine was in a movie theater and stood up to go to the restroom. Their foot had fallen asleep while in the theater and when they stood, it collapsed and twisted and shattered many bones from the knee down. It took years of surgery and treatment to get back to health. (this was a man in his mid 30s!) Ever since then, without fail, last night inclby NotLyingAboutMyAfib - AFIBBERS FORUM
Absolutely appreciate the research and background. I thought it was a little suspect because many of us are taking larger amounts with no issue at all. I'll amend the op to make sure people read David and George's posts.by NotLyingAboutMyAfib - AFIBBERS FORUM
This is a dramatic headline for a supplement many of us afibbers use. Please make sure you read the posts below from both George and David. New data and guidance over the weekend for AZ. On Friday, the EMA said that there is "no increase in overall risk of blood clots" among people who've gotten the AstraZeneca vaccine. The European regulator said it had reports of 25 clots so far among the roughly 20 million people who've received the AstraZeneca shot. The EMA, however, didn't rule out a possible connectiby NotLyingAboutMyAfib - AFIBBERS FORUM

Yes. Fruit and fructose are really bad for over all health. We were shocked when we learned this. OK - here we go. Start here End here There is NO difference between fructose from corn syrup in cola and fructose from fruit. Fruit that is in the market today has been GMO'd to be sweeter with more fructose than nature every intended.by NotLyingAboutMyAfib - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
My experience - had ablation in August mistook blanking period as NSR until I got wise and had an ECV in Nov. Been in NSR ever since but thinking time to ween off and see how solid the ablation is.
