Did you check your BP? Licorice can be potent. “However, licorice in its natural form contains a compound called glycyrrhizin that can raise blood pressure and cause other potentially severe side effects in some people. DGL stands for “deglycyrrhizinated licorice”. ... DGL decreases the symptoms associated with acid reflux from the stomach.”by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM

Brilliant! Thank you, Jackie. LS V8 is growing old.by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
I am very fortunate to have accidentally discovered this forum. I completely follow the “strategy” protocol, described in this forum (thank you Jackie) for the various supplements suggested and benefit from them as it relates to my ectopics and Afib episodes. Insofar as the technical back and forth conversations are concerned, I read them all and glean what I can and know if I wanted clarby Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM

“George, are you in the medical field? so many of you regular posters are so knowledgeable and your terminology is sometimes above my head lol.” I agree, Kate. WHOOSH!by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
You’ve mentioned time constraints, but I have to ask...cranberries. Fresh, dried? Will supplements work?by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
Wolfpack...potassium salt. I have that on my kitchen counter. My husband uses that.by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thank you, Kate. I saved the page. One banana and one sweet potatoe (both of which I love) equals one can of V-8. I think I’ll go Carey’s route.by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
George, I don’t think I have your tolerence for theae minerals. If I took your amount of magnesium, I’d be bed-bound.by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
My BP RX is potassium sparring. Potassium has more resteictions than Magnesium, with some serious side effects, if not done right. In powder form, it asks for 1/8th of a tsp. to equal 99mg. Good grief, how the heck pdo you measure that amount? I have to give this more thought.by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
I can do that, George. I can order it in bulk. Before I do, can you recommend a brand? Thanks.by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
Carey, can I take supplements? And if so, which kind? Potassium citrate or gluconate?by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
.....has been very effective in controlling ectopics; two cans a day, a total of 2360 mg. I have also been suffering with digestive issues thinking Magnesium was the culprit. It’s not. I stopped drinking the V8 a few days ago and my digestion has improved a lot, almost back to normal and the ectopics are through the roof. The juice contains beets, high in Sorbitol. I can’t do Sorbitol. Quby Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thank you for the Youtube link, Joe. I bookmarked it to watch in the am when I’m more alert.by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
Kate, the bulk if your fast is when you’re asleep. My last Afib episode was Nov. 2 (4 hrs) then converted. This is the longest stretch for me and the only change is the fasting which I started mid-October. Now, watch...I’ll Afib tonight.by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
No. Last meal/food at 7 pm....next meal at 11 am. Technically, I only have two meals a day; a hefty breakfast/lunch around 11:30 am, which fills me up and a light dinner, as I am not too hungry. No sugar (it’s a trigger) and lots of fruits and veggies. No animal products or dairy; Lots of Unrefined carbs, grainy breads, potatoes, brown rice.by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
QuoteJoe Late, have you attempted to lower your BP by natural means? Or you may be eating/drinking/smelling something that causes your body to up BP? Some years ago i had the problem and it turned out it was the thymol in my mouthwash. Stopped that and BP went back to normal. QuoteJoe Of course, if the problem is due to 'other' then diet, fasting, time restricted eating, exercise wiby Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM

Pompon, he does a beautiful job of explaining ectopics relative to our actions. I get half a dozen kicks upon rising...4 fur babies to feed, all whining away, shoots up my adrenaline.by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
Granted, the study for Ranolazine for ectopics was a small one; however the results looked promising. To Tsco’s point, Flaicinide has some nasty side effects, Ranolazine does not. Possibly, headache and constipation - the latter would be just fine to stave off magnesium side effects.by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
I just read your entire post. Seriousely, there is nothing hoaxish about Dr. Gupta. Do some snooping about his background.by Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thank you, Shannon. I know this will be a sad and bittersweet one for you. Hugs, Catherineby Catherine - AFIBBERS FORUM
