Thanks for the input from everyone, really appreciate it. Jackie can you recommend which kind of magnesium to use both on a daily basis and perhaps during an episode and likewise the potassium? I will definitely get the L-theanine, assume use daily? Thanks again anneby anneh - AFIBBERS FORUM

Ironically I was at the cardiologists yesterday and got a good report on everything to do with my heart plus a prescription for Metropolol to be used if I go into AF. I was feeling great and I take CoQ10/Mag etc every day. So today I was drinking my glass of afternoon vegetable juice (I juice every day) when I knew my heart had gone into AF. Maybe I have forgotten what it is like but it seemed wby anneh - AFIBBERS FORUM
I may have to have cataract surgery next month and from what I understand ophthalmologists use some epi in their injection into the eye although they told me its ok for AF patients as it does not get into the system? Also, what is the difference or benefit with Cardiokinase vs NattoMax nattokinase? Thanks and btw a year AF free as I had an episode last October which I converted at home, had 2 epiby anneh - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hans, just curious how much Nattokinase you recommend, I usually just take one a day for precautionary measure annehby anneh - AFIBBERS FORUM
I use Motherwort tincture whenever I start getting any missed/skipping beats etc. I take a dropperful in a little water along with a dropperful of hawthorn and a few drops of cayenne (they all come in dropper bottles from health food store).I keep baby aspirin and beta blocker for emergency use but so far have converted at home without the beta blocker the last 3 times. I also do some deep breathby anneh - AFIBBERS FORUM
I saw the mention of CardioKinase, is Nattomax still considered a good option to use? That is what I have been taking daily.by anneh - AFIBBERS FORUM
now they have determined that aspirin may be causing macular degeneration I wonder if Gingko can do likewise or perhaps Nattomax also? annehby anneh - AFIBBERS FORUM
thanks to all of you for input and Janet I feel so much better about this now - if indeed I have to have it done annehby anneh - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi I have had two episodes of AF almost 3 years ago (initially caused by too much thyroid meds). I may have a cosmetic (for lack of better description) procedure done that would require anesthesia and probably some pain meds afterwards. Would it be safe to have this done? Thanks annehby anneh - AFIBBERS FORUM
please be aware that getting the shingles vax does not mean you will never get shingles. If you read the fine print and research you will find it claims to "help" not get it. Personally have had shingles twice in the past 10 years and am doing fine with none of the threatened "lasting pain". It helps to start on the Valtrex immediately and then take several doses of L-Lysineby anneh - AFIBBERS FORUM
Just curious, bottles says with food but I thought I better double check as I was taking it without. Thanks annehby anneh - AFIBBERS FORUM
Update, had the abscessed/root canaled molar extracted on Thursday. That way I just needed to continue beyong my 10 day antibiotic course for 2 more days (thursday/friday). Extraction went well, needed to go into bone to remove all of the cyst that was there. Had stitches. Adjoining tooth was already crowned so that had to be removed and tooth worked on for a few minutes. Other adjoining tooth alby anneh - AFIBBERS FORUM

Hi, I have LAF and mine was caused by an overdose of T3 in my thyroid meds which caused me to into AF and then had one subsequent episode 2 months layer but have not had an incident for 2 years (I follow Hans protocol). One of my molar teeth has an abcess and I am on antiobics currently. Its a root canaled tooth and has to be extracted. One each side of I already have teeth with crowns so am thinby anneh - AFIBBERS FORUM
As always thank you both for this wonderful support and I will also re-read the info on 39 and 40 which I had forgotten about. Frankly I am quite disappointed in Dr Sinatra and some of the stuff he writes and especially the heavy selling. I have the Jarrow NattoMax 2000FU btw, will look into whether there is a stronger one. annehby anneh - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi I have been using nattokinase/garlic/E/gingko/fish oil etc to keep my blood thinned since my AF episode 2 years ago. I really enjoyed Dr Sinatra's book regarding heart ailments and I am on his email list. Just got an email where he discusses Coumadin and says its not necessary with LAF unless its accompanied by a couple of other things which includes leaky Mitral Valve Prolapse. I am in my 70's and have been juicing for many years. I have a Green Star juicer (the cheapest model) and its great. I juice every morning before I eat anything. I juice kale/parsley/chard/celery/carrots/apple and sometimes some other veggies like cucumber. I juice a serving for the afternoon and put it in a small mason jar filled to the top so that it won't oxidise (I do not recommendby anneh - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Well first of all the reason I went into AF was due to a stupid Dr overdosing my thyroid meds (too much T3)for my low thyroid. So I went hyPERthyroid and into AF. I did have a repeat performance 3 months later but was able to convert myself at home as I did not want to go back to the hospital unless 100% necessary. Dr had put me on beta blockers/aspirin but I weaned off and pretty much follow Hanby anneh - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi everyone, fortunately I will be 2 years LAF free this June. I had found a very nice cardiologist here in MD who was willing to go along with my holistic approach to AF. As luck would have it he has taken a teaching position in another state. Just curious if anyone knows of a good cardiologist in MD who entertains an alternative approach or at least is willing to go along with it. Thanks annehby anneh - AFIBBERS FORUM
I put 1/2tsp cayenne tincture in a 1/2cup water plus same amount of liquid honey and 2 tsp apple cider vinegar anytime my heart feels "funny" or I have palpitations followed by a dropperful of Motherwort herb tincture and 400mg magnesium.by anneh - AFIBBERS FORUM
I juice every day. I use a Greenstar juicer (the basic model) but have heard that the Breville is a good less expensive option. Today I juiced carrots/kale/swiss chard/handful of parsley/beet/celery/apple and a small piece of ginger. Always add an apple and it will taste delicious I follow that with a fresh fruit salad, I try to keep most of my diet raw and also am vegetarian. Btw everything I eby anneh - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Thank you both for responses Yes I was concerned about the caffeine content causing AF altho its my understanding that green tea is low in caffeine? As for the K2 I take spirulina and my calcium supplement and they have the correct type of K2 (MK7) so not concerned about that plus I would imagine anything like that in green tea would be good Thanks again. anneby anneh - AFIBBERS FORUM
Hi, I am pleased to announce that I have been free of AF since June 2010. My first episode was in March 2010 when a stupid Dr gave me too much thyroid medication for my hypothyroid and I went hyperthyroid and to ER. I was put on beta blockers and aspirin but weaned off of them shortly thereafter. I did have another episode in June but converted at home. I used a beta blocker so now I keep them haby anneh - AFIBBERS FORUM
