Not a fan of clairvoyants or Cayce, but Im guessing he came along shortly after the Allopaths, ("Allo": Opposite Healing"), brought their new techniques to modernize healing. At one time some were called Witches for using certain herbal remedies. We all may cringe if we knew the absolute truth of how certain herbs were discovered or proven to work on specific ailments.by hwkmn05 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Jackie, I hope I didnt give the impression that I am anti med? You are correct that Rx meds are useful in saving lives, mine included. Though I have never been on a standing med for afib over 8 years, I certainly have depended on them as a PIP to work 100% over a dozen times. My post stands however, there is no money in supplements for doctors who have little and wrong training in nutrition, stilby hwkmn05 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Beard, sorry, that was hurried. Vitamins B and C was minimal in those supplements you mentioned. Not knowing my cortisol levels were off, I was on a daily dose of 4000 mg of Vit C for 2 years and stayed in NSR. For some reason they ceased to keep me in NSR, going out 12 times in 2 months. After an adrenal test and regimen of Cortisol control, NSR since then for 1 year. I dont take Mag or Potassiby hwkmn05 - AFIBBERS FORUM
"Needless to say, I was not impressed he hadn't stipulated that years prior. " Doctors arent trained in nutrition because there is no $$$ in supplements, only meds.by hwkmn05 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Jackie, Epsom baths dont come without their own warnings. I m not a fan of anything such as oils and salts were the dosages cant be controlled. They can cause an unexpected drop in BP also.by hwkmn05 - AFIBBERS FORUM
I no longer use magnesium daily and only when Im feeling a bit out of sorts at bedtime. Even in small amounts it has a laxative effect. I have mixed feelings about it now. I believe a few times it has actually been a detriment , causing ectopic beats and even afib by eliminating good minerals prematurely. I have no data to back this up and its just my theory, but I havent taken in over a year nowby hwkmn05 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Adrenatone has a few of what is in Cortisol manager* in lower amounts. The C and B are virtually useless for mg amounts. Large doses of C, 3-5 grams, control adrenals also. I will get a list to compare later. Good start. Hope it works.by hwkmn05 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Is this really news? We know that those with SAF and unresolved are at a higher risk. For the resolved, possibly some natural safeguards would be in order for life.by hwkmn05 - AFIBBERS FORUM

Getting too much water doesnt seem like it would be an issue. Whats that connection?by hwkmn05 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Sounds like a good alternative to me. Rutin is also used to shrink hemorrhoids by increasing circulation. Good bet it works for other circulation issues.by hwkmn05 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Jackie, excellent advice. Potassium is most readily available in daily diet. Beard works out and most likely drinks alot of water, so thats a huge plus for releasing Pot into the blood stream.by hwkmn05 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Beard, One is DHEA 10mg, along with 1 with Ashwanganda, etc, daytime and 2 at night, one is Seriphos, Most GPs know about this one. It is mostly anti anxiety supplement.by hwkmn05 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Sorry to hear its too late for you. Thanks for the warning, Ill continue and take my chances with Natto and fish oil. The hasbled and hemorrhage risk cannot be denied. The question becomes for our condition, what is the risk and the odds for stroke if we refuse anticoags? Depending on which study you believe and realizing the ambiguity of them, IMO, its about 2% greater risk if I refuse. We all hby hwkmn05 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Beardman, Tall guy here too, 6 3 225, 64 yrs young. 2010 first episode, 1 yr since my last. Have your ND do an adrenal test. Cheap and easy saliva test. May not be your issue, but a good one to rule out and easy to treat with some good natural supplements. I had 12 episodes in 2 months and was lined up for an ablation. ND got report back 1 week before EP blade sharpening, and found high cortisolby hwkmn05 - AFIBBERS FORUM
From what I understand and research has shown, CPAP does NOT improve cardiovascular outcomes, nor does it cure afib. And most that wear a mask do not have afib. Im not sure which came first. It appears to help some get a better nights rest which is vital to good health. I refused the mask because I believe it could be a vice to ignore greater issues causing poor breathing and interrupted sleep.by hwkmn05 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Question, why do some, not all, with OSA continue to wear a mask after successful ablations? Is there a fear that they will go out of NSR or are there other issues with OSA not related to Afib? I realize there are other issues, but was the mask script due to a diagnosis that OSA caused afib?by hwkmn05 - AFIBBERS FORUM
My red flag also is raised immediately with titles including the C word. My knowledge of stem cell treatment for afib is very little, however the premise seems to be for treating heart disease while some with afib realizing relief? For my entire years with afib I have always been informed by all medical professionals involved that there was nothing wrong with my heart. There also seems to be moreby hwkmn05 - AFIBBERS FORUM
Ive had the flu very few times after NOT getting a flu shot. When I read that mercury levels are 100 times higher than the allowed fda limits in one shot, I chose my poison, a very treatable sickness with little effect on my afib, or a shot that adds more heavy metals to my system and only promises 6 days of sickness vs 7 days.by hwkmn05 - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
