I'm really thrilled to report I found a really great cheap solution! Arnica Gel. I put some on both calves front and back right before bed and have had zero leg cramps at night since I started. Great easy solution! Thanks for all the information!by Nancypo - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Has anyone tried using something like a heating pad on their legs in the evening before going to bed? I'm wondering about something topical?by Nancypo - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM

In the last 2 weeks started developing leg cramps at night usually about four or five in the morning. I now have a diagnosis of a weakened heart muscle which we are looking into. In the meantime I've been taking it easy for years at night. I recently started using Nuun, which help for a few nights. I'm doing one dose a day which is 16 oz of water with the tablets, low sugar and low carbby Nancypo - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Yes thanks, I'm already working on getting more information about including Foods, not a big fan of having to buy extra stuff anyway but trying to jump start the program so to speakby Nancypo - AFIBBERS FORUM
I did try some this morning, I did not realize however the frequent urination that would kick in! Omg. Good thing I was at home and near a toilet! I think it helped a bit but it was too early to sayby Nancypo - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
And I was just curious how many sessions did you do? Did you get any relief? How far apart were you sessions? Thank youby Nancypo - AFIBBERS FORUM
For people who drink electrolytes like none how often do you drink it? I did do the 16 oz this morning or do you drink it as needed?by Nancypo - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
I started some this am with symptoms, seems to be helpingby Nancypo - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Thanks I started on Nuun this am, we'll see how it goesby Nancypo - AFIBBERS FORUM
Okay thanks I've had really good luck with it before so may try a few sessions if nothing else to reduce inflammation and help whatever else might be useful. I think it may also depend on the acupuncturist you go to? I went to one that was okay, someone else at t inhe practice was absolutely amazing!by Nancypo - AFIBBERS FORUM
I was thinking about starting this product after seeing some good reports in various places. I noticed that they sell several different versions. I was wondering which type of product people here have used and have good luck with? I want to start something this weekend to get started.by Nancypo - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM
Thanks I was thinking about that too I need to limit my sugar and carbs no point in dosing myself up with that basically sounds like I need a lot more potassiumby Nancypo - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks my kidneys are an excellent condition so that's not a concern. The milk of magnesia sounds like maybe that would be a simple way for me to start getting more magnesium. I'm also on a budget so I'm trying to find something that's effective but reasonably priced to get more magnesium into my system. Thanks!by Nancypo - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thank you for the information! It sounds like I mostly need to do some potassium supplements since I'm already on magnesium. I think I also really need to start restricting more sodium. I definitely don't get too much calcium since I'm allergic to Dairy and I do take a small calcium supplement. It seems like there's a lot of powders out there and books and it's a lot of iby Nancypo - AFIBBERS FORUM
I was wondering if anyone here had used acupuncture for AFib support? I've had really great luck with it before for many other things but haven't tried it yet for AFib. I'm thinking maybe to just reduce General inflammation or whatever else the acupuncturist can do. Thanksby Nancypo - AFIBBERS FORUM
I actually saw a YouTube video about someone who started using that when his afib kicked in and had great luck with it. I may start that also to see how it works especially since the slow sugar and carbs, thanks! I'm just sort of overwhelmed right now with too much information on what to do so I want to do something really simple to start with and see how it works. Yesterday went much much bby Nancypo - AFIBBERS FORUM
My kidney function is good and I take magnesium every night. Just looking for some simple ideas with how much to take that's not too technicalby Nancypo - AFIBBERS FORUM
I read several places electrolytes are really important for afib and can help with the symptoms. I did have two glasses this morning to start my day. Interestingly enough my symptoms were much less I don't know if it's a coincidence. For people who use that on a regular basis how much do you usually use? I drank two 8 oz glasses first thing this morning. I use Gatorade since I already hby Nancypo - AFIBBERS FORUM
Actually went back on my meds today and had a much better day. I also started the day with two large glasses of Gatorade to get some electrolytes in my system. Not sure if that was what helped. I heard that electrolytes and AFib are good combination and I probably am low on potassium. Took my meds again late today so far so good. If I keep having good days on these I'm going to ask my doctorby Nancypo - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thanks for the info, I was on multack years ago it didn't work at all then went on to flacaide which was great!by Nancypo - AFIBBERS FORUM

After about 12 years or so very well controlled afib on flecainide I developed racing heart over several months. My doctor didn't EKG and said that I needed to have a flutter ablation. The procedure really well, but within a few days I started having some odd symptoms. After doing some EKGs my cardiologist said that I have AFib. That my heart speed was well controlled. He took me off flecainby Nancypo - AFIBBERS FORUM
