Hello cbarnhill10 Do you by an chance take Taurine? I ask, because after my second ablation, I was in a similar situation as you. I had severe PVC's and it was suggested that I may have to have a ventricular ablation too. As a last resort, I carefully looked at all my supplements and realised that in some folk, Taurine can cause PVC's. I stopped taking it and within a few days, soby spekkles - AFIBBERS FORUM
Shannon, thank you so much for your extensive reply. I have emailed a few questions to my EP and am just awaiting for him to reply. I would like to Skype with you - but let me just wait until I hear back from him. I'll contact you when he has replied. Shannon - just one thing. I have had 2 ablation....I am going for my third one. I really appreciate this Shannon...thank you.by spekkles - AFIBBERS FORUM
George - thank you for your reply. I am, in fact, going to Prof Rukshen Weerasooriya. He did train in Bordeaux and in fact, Pr Pierre Jais (who works with Pr. Haissaguerre) - has spent the last year working with Rukshen ...on a year's sabbatical... in Perth. Rukshen has done over 2000 ablations. I am a bit perplexed, I must admit.by spekkles - AFIBBERS FORUM
Thank you for your reply Apache. I find your comments very interesting.......the only thing is that I don't think it is the SA node - it is the AV Node. Would you know if it is 'old school thinking' to cauterize the AV node as well? I am encouraged by the fact that a flutter ablation is a simpler procedureby spekkles - AFIBBERS FORUM
I am about to have my third ablation here in Australia...in approximately 2 weeks time In the information pack that I just received from my cardiologist - it says "In difficult cases particularly patients with left atrial enlargement or other associated cardiac conditions (which are then listed) left atrial substrate ablation comprising linear ablation or ablation targeting fractionated atrby spekkles - AFIBBERS FORUM

Just wondering whether the following posting, read on iHerbs, is correct......"Magnesium stearate and stearic acid are major T-cell suppressors and creators of a biofilm in the gut. Biofilm acts as an effective barrier to the absorption of not only that particular supplement that contains magnesium stearate, but ALL the nutrients you'd normally get from food sources as well" ? My husband is going in for an angiogram this afternoon and if they find a blockage they will put in a stent. He was told by his cardiologist that he would be on Plavix and Aspirin...and then go off the Plavix and only use Aspirin. My husband told him that he is allergic to Aspirin. The cardiologist replied that he would then have to be on Plavix for life. Does one have to be on blood thinnby spekkles - GENERAL HEALTH FORUM

Hello Monty I had TEE done two days ago and although under light sedation, was aware of the whole procedure. It was uncomfortable but nothing awful. So don't be too concerned. I wish you everything of the very best for your forthcoming ablation. You are in the very best hands. I wonder if you'd mind me asking how much an ablation is costing you in Bordeaux?
