I've heard of a few folk who had an adrenergic afib trigger have a BB help them from getting afib.
Does your trigger tend to be adrenergic or vagal (parasympathetic). For more description go to [

Basically an adrenergic trigger would happen from increased activity. For example, lifting something heavy up ( a friend got afib when going to pack out a deer he killed, up a steep hill). Vagal or parasympathetic triggers happen after exercise, while quiet, after eating or during sleep, generally.
I think the reason a BB can help some of those with sympathetic or adrenergic triggers is it acts like a "governor" on your metabolism, kind of keeping it tamped down.
