Triamcinolone acetonide cream

I remember some posts about dealing with skin rashes, in this forum, but I cannot find the info. My doctor recommended triamcinolone acetonide cream 0.1% for dermatitis. I am wondering if that medication would be an issue because I read heart palpitations could be a side affect . Of course, I do not have all if the details and just wondering if anyone here uses this cream.

Don't know where you read it can cause palpitations but drugs.com doesn't list that as a side effect. If it does occur, I would imagine it's the oral, nasal or ocular forms of the drug that can do that since those forms would be more likely to be absorbed systemically. The topical form you're getting doesn't get absorbed systemically so very unlikely to cause side effects anywhere but the skin.

Used it. Never triggered any palps or arrhythmia's.
