Wondering if Sildenafil has any (positive or negative) effect while in Afib?

There are no contraindications to taking it with afib. I know several people with afib who take it, and I've never heard anyone here or elsewhere voice complaints.

So there was a poster here, "Gunnar", who last posted 11 years ago. He lived in Sweden and was chemist. He used CIalis to help keep afib at bay. This is a search of his posts, if you want to see what he did. [www.afibbers.org]

Its never once effected me. It will increase HR but many believe that this may be the reason it wards off afib as a slow HR seems more vulnerable to setting off an episode. Ive never used 100 mg! Always when i have used it probably 20 mg a partial pill. Also interesting is that it was touted as a covid treatment lol

I use tadalafil 5mg daily and have had no issues to note. I've only had one afib episode so far thankfully which was on jan 11th 2022. as a fyi, these types of meds have great health benefits outside of what we use it for normally. worth a google smiling smiley

After prostate cancer radiation in 2018 I have taken 20 mg of Tadalifil daily for 3 years, getting it from Canada for most of that time because generic wasn't available in the US. Generic is now available in the USA at about $0.80 each from Costco. Most insurance will only cover a few pills/month.

It does increase urine flow for wounded prostates and it can increase testosterone, which is why they won't give it to anyone with any significant PSA reading after having prostate cancer. Testosterone does not cause prostate cancer but does stimulate its growth if already there.

Tadalifil is not incident specific for sex but does help the blood flow in that region as well as the urine flow.

I've noticed no significant side effects. It is prescribed by my Urologist along with testosterone implants which must be monitored by semiannual blood tests. Adequate testosterone has many beneiits.

For other prostate cancer veterans, Finisteride is also a big help with flow control but can take up to a year to become effective.

I had a Natale ablation13 years ago and another 13 months ago. He had no problem with this protocol, nor did UCSF, who did the radiation.
I am on metroprolol tartrate 25mg (1/2 pill twice a day), Amiodarone 200mg. 1x daily, and xarelto 20 mg in the evening.
Should I be concerned if I take 10mg of Cialis once in a while?
