4 days after returning from Austin where Dr Natale said the wait and see approach is best right now a family death in Chicago happened Saturday, he was special needs 30 yrs old. 4 hrs later i went into Flutter. Confirmed monday on ekg. Im now in day 4 at 115-120 and portal messaged my EP for a Th or Fri cardioversion. Im anticoagulated
Ive tried everything i know. Wife in Chicago for funeral yesterday. So ill hear after 8 am. Mailed my Zio Patch back yesterday after 7 days. I thought my skin was coming off too lol
Ill assume that a return trip to Austin is in my cards. Aug Sept Oct???

Idk ive never done that. My ep is asking what missed doses of eliquis ive had. 2 days after Austin while in nsr. When flutter started I restarted eliquis Sat sun mon tues today

Have you tried the PIP chemical route ...Flec. or Propafenone?

Yes Carey i missed 2 days of eliquis. Last thur and fri as id been nsr all june. Then on sat night i restarted as i went into flutter at midnight. So 1 tgen sun thru wed 2/5s today 1/5 at 8 am. Rate 115 until i take diltalizem. So only missed 2 days well after 3 months of 3/29 ablation. Ive been nsr may 20 thru july 10 but took eliquis anyway. Plus cod liver oil plus olive oil plus daily exercise plus hvy hydration

This is NOT how you take Eliquis. DO NOT stop and start it. You need to be taking it twice daily religiously. Why do you insist on constantly stopping your meds when you need them?

Wouldn’t it be prudent to start Flecainide or Multaq and perhaps have a few to many years or even a decade of nsr until the Pulse technology is used more and perfected?

I had 16 good years on Flecainide. It’s worth trying unless you have an underlying heart condition.
