I have recently, again, gone back to taking Xarelto daily. For several months before, I was taking a daily capsule of Turmeric containing Curcuma aqueous extract QCE 4480 mg. and Organic Turmeric supercritical extract QCE 1720 mg. About three months of taking these totally eliminated the arthritis pain in my hands; and night pains in my legs (not arthritis). When I started on Xarelto I stopped the turmeric and now my arthritis and nightly leg pain pain are back.
I have read that turmeric and ginger should not be taken with blood thinners. I still put a tsp of ginger in my morning smoothie. Would love to go back on turmeric. I have previously tried other brands of turmeric which did not work; this one does.
Should I? What would be the implications.
I am in the process of changing cardiologists and on list (again) for second ablation (no timeline yet).
