...down over 21% from January 2017 (was about $105 / month), for 60-day supply of 5 mg at Canada Drugs.

Now (as of 7/7/17):

Eliquis (5 mg) at Canada Drugs... approximately $82.50 / month.

Coumadin in USA (Walmart)... $3.33 / month.

I downloaded coupons with the help of CVS pharmacist and got a 30 day supply for 10 dollars. Nice! It was over 100 with my insurance.

You better be sitting down for this. I had been emailing with an Afibber in New Zealand. He pays $30 for a month supply of Eliquis. In the U.S. it is over $400. He thought the high cost in the U.S. is ridiculous. So, it seems the high cost for drugs in the U.S. supports the low cost everywhere else around the world.
