'Irregular heartbeat' is listed as a side-effect of Amlodipine, is it possible that this drug is actually causing atrial fibriluation?

Has anyone else noticed that their afib started after taking Amlodipine.

Actually, every one of the drugs used for hypertension has arrhythmia as a side effect. So, can amlodipine cause Afib? The answer is pretty much yes.
