Fitbit alta

Does anyone know if a FITBIT ALTA that you wear all of the time to measure your activity and sleep quality would cause a problem for a person (myself) with a fib? It says PurePulse Heart Rate.
My daughter gave me one for Mothers Day. I was wondering if something like this could bring on a fib.

Thanks so much for any information you can give me. I just don't know if I want to take a chance with it.

My wife wears a Garmin with similar features. I sleep next to her and it has never bothered me. That being said, it likely depends on the person and how sensitive you are.

Hi,

I wear a Fitbit all the time, and it has no affect on me at all.
I find it very helpful for,
Heart rate, resting heart rate, steps walked per day, I can see approx. how long I have been in afib.
Also duration and quality of sleep.
I find it very handy.

Colin
