In Bordeaux - 14 hours to go

As I write this, I'm in my hotel room in Bordeaux with 14 hours until my ablation. I took a drive past the hospital to check it out today and as RonB once said, it's a bit unassuming in an industrial area. Nonetheless, I have complete confidence in the facility. Still pretty nervous though.

I'll post again after everything's done. In the meantime, wish me luck!

Thanks Monty,

It's not the newest of hospitals, but it's what happens inside that counts. I think you will be very impressed with the care you receive there. You couldn't be in better hands.

Sending good wishes for tomorrow. My memories are that the food was much better than hospital food in UK, and the beds were more comfortable!!

You will be in the best of hands.

Holding the best thoughts for you for tomorrow, Monty. As others have often said, you made a wise decision to go with the best. At this point, place yourself in the hands of the good doctors there and know that the anxieties will be behind you very soon.
